I purchased a clock off of Facebook that I loved for my cabin but the clock did not keep time. I purchased one of these clocks to replace the mechanicals and am very pleased, works perfectly and keeps accurate time. Easy installation and great value.

This is the real deal in appearance and function. I am very happy with the form, fit and function of this kit. Also it keeps very accurate time. It is a great value and will save your large clock from being scrap. The length & appearance of the hands is quite nice as they are easily readable in different lighting conditions.

Perfect fit, works great, easy to install.

Only issue is the black on the hour and minute hand was all scratched up. Otherwise installed pretty easy. I just did it so I will update in a few days.

There was so much play in the gears the minute hand advanced 4 minutes on the way down from 12-6 and lost it on the way back up from 6-12. I usually don't bother to return things that don't cost much, but this time I did. Really, Amazon, you should be more selective.

Working great! I’ve had my heirloom quality Howard Miller clock for over 20 years and the minute hand was loose and not adjustable so got this kit. It’s been keeping time for a month without issue so far.

I replaced a broken clock mechanism - and was happy to see that this worked well. However, there ARE several drawbacks to this item: As others have stated, the hands arrived quite scratched, and they weren’t a highly polished finish to begin with. It’s nothing a quick coat of black nail polish can’t fix.I was irritated to discover that the length of the minute hand is NOT measured from the center attachment point *as is the industry standard* but overall - including the counter-balance extension. This is deceptive, as consumers knowledgeable with replacement clock hands expect the length to be given from the center, since they may be replacing hands without a counter-balance.Lastly, the instructions are insufficient: the minute hand must be attached by rotating it until it aligns with the peg - which may NOT be in the 12 o’clock position as described. Once aligned, it can be slipped into position, and the cover cap affixed. I suspect that folks whose clocks are losing time didn’t affix their minute hand correctly.We may need to report the seller to have these issues remedied.
