Works good too expensive

For reference, I have blond, fine, high density, low porosity hair. My curls are a choose your own adventure situation, with pieces ranging from 1 to 3B. My hair does best if treated like curly hair, recognizing the low porosity and adding any stylers when my hair is still sopping wet. Low-poo over no-poo. Before this started, I shampooed every 3 or 4 days, clarifying every few weeks.I had a bad reaction to a new shampoo about six months ago, and developed seborrheic dermatitis. I used a prescribed shampoo to get it under control, but hadn't found any alternative before this. All of the solutions that helped my scalp destroyed my hair - including the shampoo that my derm prescribed. I've tried a lot of options, and this is the first that has brought balance to both my hair and scalp. My scalp is healthy, and my hair is shiny and bouncy.I use this every other day, plus my derm shampoo every other week. I've been able to add back a leave-in and some gel (both blueberry bliss). This is a little heavy. I'm not sure how it will work once I have more hair that's not damaged by shampoos with salycic acid, coal tar, etc., and I'm back to low porosity. I definitely need to wash my hair after day two. However, it's been amazing so far to help out this wavy/curly with scalp issues.

I am amazed. I am an multiracial American with my African traits at the front. Combing my hair has never been this easy and pain free in my entire life. Imagine a 9 year old child being carried by 4 people with dripping wet , shampoo still in her hair, for 3 blocks . Yes that was me. When I applied the shampoo my hair felt different. I chalked to off to “it always feels nice with something in it” . Then I rinsed and it still felt nice. I put in the conditioner and it felt so good to cried. Even after I rinsed I could pull my fingers through my hair. The next text was to run a comb through my hair after I towel dried it. I cried some more. Not from pain but from relief. No pulling , virtually no tangled and I could see something I don’t usually see..my curl pattern. This product was suggest after doing a test on haircode.com. This so far is in the top 10 of best decision I ever made. Thank you for making this product. Oh yeah it also soothes my dry itchy sore sensitive scalp. Three days later no itch , no dry flakes and it hurts about 65% less after just one use.

Works well on hair. Enough moisture.

The conditioner was great for detangling. I’m not a big fan of the coconut smell but it’s not overpowering so my leave in will definitely overpower the after smell for the most part. However, once I rinsed out the conditioner, my hair didn’t seem much softer than before. Unfortunately, I am not able to properly rate the shampoo because I received two conditioners and I didn’t actually pay attention to this until I got ready to wash my hair tonight. What a bummer. Now I’ll have to pay for and wait for the shampoo to come in the mail. Whoever packaged this product needs to pay attention to what they are doing. Ridiculous....Edit: I’m coming back to add to my initial thoughts. I am re rating this product 5 stars because it absolutely cured my extremely bad dandruff after just one wash. Mind you... I used the shampoo once, conditioner once and deep conditioning mask last. Then, I used both the elixir and daily oil moisturizer before using my leave in conditioner. (I only used the elixir and oil on my scalp.) I absolutely love these products and have used them for about a couple months now. I am highly impressed and would recommend to anyone with severe dandruff.

At this point I've given up on shampoos and conditioners.I have combination hair type due to being mixed race so I have a little bit of every texture in my hair. Top of my head being 3B and the crown being more 3C while the nape is 2C. I sleep on a satin pillowcase every night and i like to keep a low maintenance hair routine. I wash my hair every 3-4 days as my scalp gets really itchy due to grease (maybe?) while the remainder of my hair is crispy and dry. Its especially worse close to winter! I usually am scratching furiously by day 3 and have to shower to alleviate the itch. I've used other head and shoulders in the past because they can be more "heavy" on the hair compared to other store brands in the same price range. This version works great for me as it soothes my scalp longer so i can go without washing my hair for an extra day or two if I want. It fits right into my basic routine (aunt jackies cream and Paul Mitchell anti frizz serum).

OMFG! I will never buy another shampoo and conditioner!!! I am always looking for something that smells great but seeing as I have bad dandruff nothing really works and I hated the normal head and shoulders because it didn't smell like anything! Well, one day I stumbled upon this golden treasure! I have thick hair like REALLY THICK hair I am African American and have the type of hair the hair salon charges more for a wash and set lol. my hair is a little past shoulder but full! I had REALLY bad dandruff, the type that can be lifted off my scalp and still stay intact! I now used this shampoo for two weeks. and I tell u... MY HAIR STILL SMELLS LIKE DAY 1 and so soft like SCARY SOFT! I didn't even want to wash it out! If ur reading this far u have t to buy this!
