Great Roller but Not for Everyone
I upgraded to the Trigger Point "The Grid" foam roller from a standard black foam roller and have been using it for about a month now. I noticed immediately that the firmness of this roller is much harder, so if a traditional foam roller hurts you, I would not recommend using this one. However, if you are looking for deeper myofacial release without increasing force on the roller, I highly recommend this. The length is a little short for roller angels and some of the other moves in P90X2, but it works well for the intended purpose.I bought this for its claimed durability and the added benefits of the textured roller and it has more than met my expectations. Please note, I had some bruising of the skin following my first few uses which I believe is due to the texture and the amount of force I was putting on it while rolling certain areas of the body. This has subsided after getting used to the increased density.

Three Stars
I think this may be too much pressure for me. This foam roller is very firm.

Great product, kinda pricy.
I love this roller. I like that it's hollow, so when I travel I can put stuff inside of it to save space. I also like that it's full length so that I can use it longways on my back to stretch my rhomboids. In terms of stiffness, I wouldn't say this is the stiffest roller on the market, but it is definitely stiff enough to get the job done tear free.I'd give it 5 stars, but honestly, I can't really believe it's a $65 - $75 product. I got mine on a super sale for $45. If that was the normal price I would consider it on the high side. It's foam and plastic, just sayin.

AMAZING!!
After using Jfit foam rollers for years, and wearing them out constantly, my friend (who is a massage therapist for the Kings) told me that I had to try it. If you are just starting out with rollers, I wouldn't recommend using this first. I would recommend getting a regular foam roller, and working up to this. In a perfect scenario I would tell you to get a jfit foam roller and this one at the same time so you could work up to this. If you have been rolling for a long time, you NEED this roller. It's amazing, and works my back, legs, and hips, like no normal roller ever has. I have been able to get off all my medications for pain since using this roller, and I no longer have to go to physical therapy. It's great, and you should get it.

Broke the first time I used it!
I received my roller on Friday, and I watched a few videos on how to use it before starting this morning. It feels great on the back, but a chunk of foam broke off the edge the first time I used it. Ridiculous! I am 5'5" and 138 pounds, so it is not as though I put an unreasonable amount of stress on the product. Disappointing for the price I paid.

Amazing!!!!
This is the only roller i've ever used, so i suppose my product comparison rating is NA.However, this thing has dramatically and instantaneous relieved pain in my back and exposed knots and pain points in my legs i did not know existed. It pops and alines my spin each use. its like having a live in chiropractor.HIGHLY RECOMMEND this for anyone with back pain or is active and needs frequent muscle tension relief

STurdy roller does the job
My issues with foam rollers has always been, I'm a big guy -- tall and...uh...stout -- and the traditional all foam roller starts to distort in shape relatively quickly to the point where it won't roll anymore. The TriggerPoint roller has an internal hard shell that keeps it round, no matter how much weight is applied and as such, it does exactly what I need it to do. The possible downside is this roller is definitely harder than an all foam roller. I think it's fine in terms of padding, but it may take some people some time to work into how hard it feels compared to an all foam roller.
