Bought this for my sister who just became a homeowner. She seemed every happy with it. I personally haven't read it but I figure it's your run of the mill home repair guide.

Wanting to be able to do simple, necessary things around the house, I found this book excellent. I wanted to be able to affix a screw into wood. I did not even know how to put in a bit. This shows you how with pictures and words. It took away my fear of using a drill. It is an excellent book for the very beginner.

I bought the book for my grandson who recently just bought a house. The house is a fixer-upper, and he informed me that the book was a lot of help for someone who has never done these projects before he said that the book in detail would explain to him how to do the job and he loves it

Super great for the unexperienced or not very experienced. Great step by step instructions. I am a female wanting to do my own repairs etc etc. This book is very helpful
