Good for peppers
I mix in a couple of tablespoons of this when preparing 10-12” pots for pepper transplants. That’s often all the amendment or fertilizer they get until they bloom, and it seems to work well.

Add this to your garden arsenal
We have both hydrangeas and blueberries and our soil ph is too high for those. We couldn’t understand why our blueberry bush was struggling. I only wish I had known about this product before we bought the plants because it doesn’t change the ph level instantly. But it’s definitely improving. This is a must for any serious gardener. The price is very good considering how much product you end up with.

Very effective
Espoma is a reputable brand that puts out a number of products I find useful in a desert environment. I use this for plants that lean toward wanting an acidic soil, even though they are well adapted to our more alkaline soil and hard water. I have a bougainvillea planted near a concrete walkway, suspected that it didn't particularly like the lime that leached from the concrete even though I have found a fertilizer it really loves (Fertilome). I threw some of this soil acidifier around its base earlier this spring when I was pruning it back, watered in well, and within an hour the leaves just glowed velvety green! Plants will signal loud and clear when they like something, especially if it helps them feed better, absorb nutrients better. They will also tell you clearly that they accept no substitutes if you run out of a food or supplement they love. My myrtle hedges also live near concrete and respond appreciatively to this product. It is gentle and safe. You never see leaf burn. Also safe to use if you have animals.
