Quantity over quality

The pots have drainage holes at the bottom and some have a little coir cap over the hole. I'd prefer it without the hole personally and wish the bottoms of each one were covered. But I guess it was designed that way because it's thicker and doesn't drain These pots are thicker than other coir pots I've gotten before from Akro Mills and a lot more scratchy. The Coco fibers aren't compressed as well and they're dry and scratch up against your hand when using them. Be careful taking them out of their bag because a stray coco fiber poked under my nail bed when I went to grab a pot and that was painful. They don't look too pot-like but they do like the image shown albeit a little bit more rounded on the bottom than I expected.

Reusable seed starters

Growing season in the North Woods of Wisconsin starts late and is short, so I start seeds under a grow light indoors. I need something that I can use for a good month or so before they go outside. This started pots are big enough and since the are made of coco coir they last longer the the peat ones which fall apart. They are more expensive, but I plan on reusing them for a few years. And they are biodegradable, so no plastic!

Good biodegradable pots!

Much better alternative to peat moss pots. Roots can grow through the sides (though, it doesn't seem to be particularly easy for them).I've had some mold growing on the outside due to the pots being able to hold water as opposed to something like plastic. This was likely completely my fault, though. Watering too much and having the pots too close to each other.... So 95% sure it's user error on the mold.Overall, great small pots that I am excited to throw in my garden!

Better all around than the cardboard alternative

These are so much better than the common cardboard ones! Cardboard ones grow mold and fall apart or harden. These are sturdy and allow the roots to spread out into the rest of the ground once you plant them. They’re truly the best option for plants you want to start and later transplant.

Good for the plant and the planet!

These little pots are so great for seed starting, I wish I had found them sooner. Whenever I can, I pop the seedlings out and plant so I can reuse the pot, but if I need to plant pot and all, I can. Love!

10 markers/20 cups

So far so good. Used these to start my seeds off, we’ll see how they hold up and if the roots are able to puncture the walls. The inside of these feel like there’s a wax coating, but it only smells like coconut. What I don’t like it’s they only provide 10 markers instead of 20. I like having a diverse garden so more markers are necessary for me.

sustainable

These came quickly. Over winter I will be using some of them to grow some herbs for immediate use. Come spring I'll have a better idea how these hold up. The hope is that they decompose.

Worked great. Gophers suck.

Worked great for pre-planting my garden, planted great, right into the soil. Of course, then a gopher dug under them and sent them popping right out of the ground, but that's not a fault of the pots.
