Q: Can 'gardena select' be attached to double tap to control two sprinklers at same time?

yes. I use gardeners two to one outlet and attach two different timers. Reason is because of mains water pressure. Water pressure is reduced substantially if two garden sprinklers are used simultaneously. I set the timer so that it starts with an hour delay. My other set up uses the two for one adaptor and I water two areas simultaneously,I only need a reduced pressure to water that area

Hello, The temperature of the water flowing through may not exceed 40° C. At high temperatures (above 70 °C at the display) the LCD display may go out; this has no effect on the programme sequence. When it has cooled down, the LCD display reappears. Best regards GARDENA Service

Q: In manual mode, can a runtime be set? eg, sprinkler left on overnight problem.

I assume by manual you mean overriding the timer by switching to ON mode. On the model I have, as far as I am aware the water output from the timer would remain on until switched to OFF or back to timer mode.
