These Ice Cream Dishes are excellent: well-sized for a few scoops, sturdy yet elegant in shape, and an old-fashioned design which lends to their charm. The ridged edges are fine for Sundaes and the sauces don't overlap the dishes and they have also proved very attractive for desserts other than ice cream.

I've had 4 similar glass dishes for a long time but one got broken so I ordered these Ravenhead dishes as a replacement, sold by Diy-Direct, via Amazon. They were a good price and arrived much sooner (1st June) than predicted (4th - 6th June). They were well packaged, so no breakages - and best of all, these new dishes are identical to my 3 surviving dishes, which I hadn't realised were Ravenhead! I have had the original ones for several years and used them often, so I can testify to their durability and that they are perfectly okay in the dishwasher.

I've been using them frequently for strawberries and cream, fruit fools etc. I have some nicer crystal ones for special occasions, but these are perfect for every day usage because they go in the dishwasher and I'm not scared of dropping them.
