my parrot loves this food
this is the best food for my parrot, the price was reasonable now that inflation is here prices on almost everything has gone up on average 25 to 50% . the government keeps inflated the dollar by printing money without taxing enough to balance the paper. the public has no idea how the system works.

Macaw eats it well
I'm no vet so nutritionally - who knows. But I bought these on a whim and they smell fruity and my macaw likes them. I supplement veggies and fruit so I'm not concerned about how healthy they are. Plus I know people with parrots older than me that are doing fine - those birds ate pellets and seed from 40 years ago before all the marketing around health was around - birds are scavengers people. They eat rotten fruit and dead things. The pellets for macaws tend to be larger than these - this size is generally marketed toward African greys and such, but I have a greenwing that seems to prefer this size. These smell so nice I tried one. Surprisingly, these taste like ground seeds not fruit. I mix these with a seed mix and it works great. If your pellets and seeds are supplemented with fruits and veggies, any brand your bird will eat will be fine (as long as they don't have the rat poison in the grain issue). A bag of this and similar size seed mix lasts me around 6 months I think. I do mix in maybe 3 bags of raw peanuts (near the beer aisle at my grocery) in the same amount of time.

Goffin enjoyed this food
I switched my bird over to pellets after she had been eating an all seed diet for 13 years upon the vet's request. My bird had no problem switching over to this food and seems to enjoy it, though still enjoys seed more which she gets as a treat now. The different colors and sizes provide her with entertainment as well as a food source. Due to my bird's weird eating habits (she likes to eat one color at a time), the only drawback is that her poops come in the color she has been eating most recently. We call them "rainbow poos". The red and orange ones are the worst and hard to get out of fabric. Also, my bird likes to choose a color that she will not eat, the color of which varies every couple months, but doesn't seem to have anything to do with the food itself. I go through about 3/4 to a cup of food a day, so the bag lasted about 5 months.

Great Food at a Reasonable Price
My macaw was eating zupreem, but the price on that kept getting higher so I searched for something comparable but more cost effective and found this stuff. My bird eats it just fine. The pellets are smaller so there is less waste. She eats all the colors and hasn't had any negative side effects. I like that I can order it online and have it shipped to my door quickly.

price is good
My bird loves this. for some reason she is partial to the green looking ones who knows i have found some pieces that looked like they are mashed together into one huge piece but i dont know why this is. But still my bird eats most of the food. these days prices are food are so high. so this is a good value for this product. I will keep buying it .

My 34 year old Macaw's choice
It has been the choice of my 34 year old macaw for as long as I can remember, really. She gets fruits, veggies, and select leftovers supplemented. But don't touch her "crunchies". At the moment, she eats the red and pink ones first. Later, she will change that up with another color. My macaw has never been ill and makes middle age look good on a bird!

Food is good but...
My macaw (and dogs) love the food, but the pricing has almost doubled for the 4lb bag in the nearly 6 months I've been ordering, then, on top of that, the shipping can be really bad. I didn't get my Feb shipment on time due to an inventory outage, so I ordered something else. Then I got both at once! I'll still get it because Clyde loves it but I'm not going to stop looking for other non-seed options.
