I thought that the "caffeinated" aspect was just a gimmick but actually it seems to do two things for my skin. If I have a small nick or cut, it stops any minor blood spotting completely. Also, my pores tighten up which makes my skin feel very smooth. I haven't had any bumps or redness after using it. The smell is very pleasant and refreshing but if you prefer unscented things, this may be too strong smelling for you.Now, a little goes a long way which is normally good. But you will need to really wash your hands after applying it, and use soap or scrub a bit because it really doesn't wash off easily. It's not a big deal but it caught me a little by surprise that even after washing my hands, it rubs off my hands onto the towel a bit. I suspect this tube will last me a year or more at this rate.

I'm completely writing this review over again and I'm retyping it.I bought this and a bottle of the Pacific shaving company shaving cream last January ( a month ago) on the 8th.I've never even heard of Pacific shaving company before but a quick look elsewhere on Amazon and you see tons ofproducts that other sellers try to price gouge you on.You get bang for your buck and this is by no means a cheap quality product.If you're looking for cheap quality product I'd suggest using wet toilet paper to wet your face.I've been using this for a month now and I'm never going back to anything like Harry's for shaving products. I might buy razors but I'm not getting shaving cream or shaving balm from them again. Harry's is good Don't get me wrong but this is way way way way way way better.Hey it's only a few dollars more so who cares. You get what you pay for and when you pay for the best you get the best. But know what you're buying before you buy it. Pictures attached.Don't buy cans of shaving cream or shaving balm. A lot of them contain butane. Not good. Butane is a carcinogen. Its used as a gas propellant.(You can dress up a pig and call it something else but its still a pig.)

Have previously bought this in a "TSA compliant" 3.4 oz size. They now seem to be pushing customers to a larger format as the price of the TSA compliant tube is nearly the same as a 7 oz tube. So, I bought the larger size for home use and will hopefully have enough left in my smaller format tube to last me another year or two. As for the product, it's good and the tube dispenser is much more convenient than others I've used which come in a standard bottle and are not as easy to dispense. I'm at 5-stars other than the issue with product format....

This after shave is great for my skin, and it initially smells good. My problem is that after an hour, my skin smells like a wet towel. And it doesn’t go away until I wash my face. I leave a little scruff on my whole face except my neck. It seems like the smell gets stale on anywhere that has hair.So I think this is a great aftershave for people who don’t have any facial hair. But be aware of stale smells if you have any stubble or a beard.

I love this stuff. It's my go-to aftershave.I'm not in it for the fragrance (look elsewhere if you are), but for the condition it leaves my skin in after shaving.I'm honestly not sure what it is, whether it's the caffeine or something else in the formula, but it's had excellent results on my skin.Highly recommended.

Decided to try this on a whim -- I mean -- caffeinated after shave -- really? Best product I've ever used. Not sure you get a kick from the caffeine, but It moisturizes, nourishes, and tightens the skin for sure. Usually my neck burns for about 2 hours after I shave. With this, no redness, no burning, and a nice minty odor. It may be my imagination, but I think the shave the next day is more comfortable as well. Fantastic product!

the after shave balm has a medicinal smell that is offputting. It is also greasy. The pros are it does the job and was cheap. Overall I'll spend a little more and get what I want. I will use what I have of this product though since I bought it and it works.

I was away and forgot my after-shave so I picked this up in a store. I haven't used anything else since. It is cool and creamy with a wonderful scent and that "perk my face up" touch of caffeine. Unique and soothing. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Something worth noting is that the best result is not the first time. I shave twice a week so I've used this aftershave only 3 times now. The first time I was slightly underwhelmed. My burning, itching, and redness were slightly diminished after using the aftershave but they weren't fully gone. However, the dryness was fully gone after the first time so I decided I'd give it another try on the next shave. Luckily the menthol is a nice distraction from the itch the first time. Another review somewhere here mentioned that he felt like the next shave was somehow easier after using the aftershave and I agree!!! My 2nd shave felt smoother and my skin didn't peel off like it usually does when shaving. Applied the aftershave and this time I felt no burning or itching and even less redness!! My 3rd shave (today) believe it or not was even better! I had 0 redness while shaving; it's like the prior 2 post-shave aftershaves had made my skin more resilient in that area or something!! And after applying the after shave I'm now sitting feeling my beard area literally 2 degrees cooler than the rest of my face! This thing is magic!
