i wasn’t expecting this lamp to be a little difficult to assemble but it’s worth it if u have the patience :) the instructions don’t really guide u how to hook it on right, as i was attempting a couple times. btw the hooks should be facing on top where the two little points are. i truly love the texture of the lamp shade, feels like crinkly paper so be careful stretching it out when placing it on the lamp as it could possibly rip! to me it feels light like paper but yet durable enough :) this one lamp sits on my desk and really brightness my whole bedroom with a warm cozy light. truly like the functionality & size

This lamp is absolutely adorable and it took maybe 5 minutes to assemble. Super cute!!!

I’m in love with this lamp! I was afraid the paper material might be an ivory white, but it’s a soft beige. Looks good with the soft yellow bulbs. And looks expensive too!

We had an iKea one we loved but we sold it in the move and tried to replace it with this one. This one is super nice but just isn’t the same style we loved so much.

Initially, I thought it would be diffiult to put together, but it was super easy! And it looks great, good quality.

Based on the online product photo, I bought this lamp. I have had several of these in the past, and the shades were always uniform and attractive. The shade that comes with this unit is folded in such a way that it looks like a grocery bag, and has deep creases along two sides. There is no way to eliminate the creases. I contacted the company and they said they would send me a new shade--and they sent the very same creased shade! It looks like heck, and there is not a way to turn the lamp so that the creases are minimized. So disappointed.

I bought two of this lamp for living room and dining room to bring in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. They serve the purpose wonderfully.

I actually liked this floor lamp. I wanted to get two Magnarps from IKEA, but they are not available in the US anymore (still being sold in UK). These Adesso lamps where the closest I could find to the Magnarp in the same price range. The aren't super polished, but they still look fine and do a good job overall.That being said, packaging is the WORST i've seen. Like ever. Putting the lamp together is not complicated, but getting the lamp out of the packaging is a pain. The packaging creates a monumental amount of waste (a mess of cardboard and polystyrene, covered up in plastic tape all over) . A complete shame from the packaging side.I didn't have the shade length problems other have mentioned, but I did have a different problem - the center column, which holds both the bulbs and the shade, ends up in a screw on cap on the top. This cap secures the shade in place. In my case, the cap was fused together with the column. In all likelihood, the cap was assembled while the paint was still fresh, making it impossible to loosen it up without damaging the pieces.I contacted Amazon, and they gave me just two options: Exchange or return (no need to repackage, thankfully). I'd prefer to simple get the two pieces with problems (end section of the center column and the cap). What a shame - it's a waste no matter how you look at it.
