I bought a new Insignia tv and remote died after a week , and best buy gave me wrong replacement . So rather than drive 3 hrs to next town again to replace the remote , I ordered a new one and it works great , better than new. Just make sure your model tv is listed when buying one of these .

I lost my remote for my TV at first and I was very hesitant about ordering another one off of Amazon wondering if it might not connect I put the batteries in the remote and it connected to my TV right away there was no set up it was absolutely perfect and easy
