Purchased for work
We have a grant at work where we are giving out laptops. We needed a label to put on the laptops to tell the receivers of the laptops who the gift was from and whom to contact with issues. They printed out great, and they peel easily. They look great on the laptops!

Tamper Proof Labels
When you try removing these tamper proof labels, they are extremely brittle so they chip off in tiny pieces. Someone would easily give up trying to remove these. Very Happy!

It is what it says....
.. and they are fine for everyday use. But these are dull matte silver and not nearly as shiny as I had hoped. The price per label is very high, but for this sort of label your options are limited. We needed calibration stickers and these were suited to purpose. It remains to be seen how long they hold the ink, how weatherproof they really are, and so forth. But I'm optimistic as Avery is know for quality.

Expensive, But They Deliver As Promised
Overall very pleased with these labels. Does take some focus and paper skills to avoid wasting $7 a page for any typos or misalignments - but aside from that, the labels have very good adhesion, stay stuck with rough use and look quite clean. Some additional notes:- The finish is more of a glossy gray vs metallic. The page looks more plasticky than metal, but still durable never-the-less- On most finishes, these will leave quite a mark in attempting to remove them after being stuck for more than a day or so. Not for clean finish removal / great for asset tracking.- I printed in the margins to gain some extra printing space which, for me, adds to the product value.

Great waterproof label
Although I wish the size was a tad bigger, this label works well! We work around water most of the time and these have really come in handy. We put in all our equipment in case we leave it somewhere. Great for office or home use.

Actual garbage
They came with the entire left half of each sheet partially lifting and bubbling, once I was able to even some of it out, I attempted to print my labels using the psd template from their site - which was misaligned very badly, once realigning the file I noticed that when it printed, the bottom half of the sheets where smearing really badly (to the point where I needed to clean the drum after). I decided to try their only creator which DID properly align when printed, but the print quality was consistently poor with the bottom half smearing and making me have to clean the drum and run many blank sheets through to clean it. I do not recommend this product and will be returning my other unused white version of this for a refund because I used up half of these sheets trying to make it work. After owning a printing shop for 3 years I can confidently say that nobody, even with experience, will have a good time with these labels. And yes, I followed all instructions and used a laser printer.

Great concept but not durable enough.
Metal asset tags are expensive, so this looked like a more affordable alternative. Unfortunately, they're just not very durable. I can easily scrape off the laser-printed ink with a fingernail. I'd guess these would become quickly unreadable in light to regular use. Unless it's something that would rarely be moved or scuffed, I don't see these being useful as asset-tracking labels.

PRINTER DEPENDENT - Great product if you have proper equipment
I’ve tried this product with two printers.Bad: The first one, a brother laser monochrome printer, was disappointing. Printed crisp, but you could scrape off the toner with your thumbnail.GREAT!: On a whim, tried with my canon color LaserJet, and the label setting seems higher/slower. Toner “melts” into the label (has that appearance) and cannot scratch off without damaging label.Great product on Cannon, abysmal on Brother. This is no criticism on the brands them selves, just my experience with the printers I have in my home office
