Arrived on time and well packaged in perfect condition, with appropriate extra cardboard on wing ends and tail. Painting on metal is well done and should weather nicely to reduce the gloss to appear more natural.Mounting should be secure, as it is 10 pounds and well blow over IF it is not secure by you! The 2 U shaped mounting backets will not provide a secure environment outdoors. So, plan where it is going to go and how you are going to attach it firmly.In my case, I put its front claws under a surface tree root, and weight the back metal bracket firmly with some large rocks.I may secure it to a tree limb in the air, first by getting the wings spot welded, and making a harness under the wings for it to hang from.

I am very very happy with this metal sculptured bald eagle. It is beautifully crafted and looks very life like. It appears to be well made as well, as it has some weight to it. Around 10lbs. Although it appears well built, I did take the advice of some other reviewers and I put on two coats of clear matte rustoleum to help keep it from rusting. I also cut a coat hanger and used it to run a straight strand of metal between the wings to help support them. I read reviews that said it held up well in high winds and others that said the wings bent some. I didn't want to take any chances and we do get very gusty winds here in Nebraska. In closing, I love this metal sculpture and believe anyone ordering one will also be very pleased.

Very pleased with their honor. ***We were finally able to get this put up at my mom and dad’s house a month ago. Had it up for a couple of weeks and the wings broke off. It’s truly beautiful, but the wings are not sturdy for outside. Sad, it was a birthday gift for my dad. He loved it but was upset when the wings broke off shortly after getting it put outside.

I got this last year and it is great. Some people put it on trees or roof but I did something very different. My husband passed and his headstone is very great but as I looked around the cemetary I noticed that almost every recent grave had angels, flags, crosses and other religious items to decorate their gravestones. My husband was not into those things so I didn't know what to add to make his area stand out from the others. I love this Eagle because he is a war veteran and a eagle fits his persona perfectly. So, now he has the BEST looking grave in the cemetary. The eagle is prestigious, handsome and beautiful! Thank you very much! I highly recommend this attractive piece of art! It has been in the weather for almost a year and it still looks great!

So happy with this eagle! Great craftsmanship. A lot of detail. Packaged with care. Easy to put wings on. Definitely makes you take a 2nd look.Held it down with U shaped stakes.
