I've been using this shampoo for years on my sisterlocks. This is a great clarifying shampoo for locs. I would definitely recommend.

First of all the packaging, shipping and delivery were above expectations. The two bottles of shampoo were very effectively wrapped to prevent any leakage which I loved. This IS A BIG PLUS FOR ME!!!Secondly, this Giovanni Tea Tree Shampoo is the one and only shampoo I am able to use for my itchy scalp. I have no idea why I suddenly developed this problem in my old age. No flakes or dandruff and no oiliness do I have! Just itch the day after I shampoo. In any case I highly recommend this product. My hair is squeaky clean, shines and my scalp is invigorating during my shampoo. The scent is very nice as well.

Good price, but my bottle leaked a little

I don’t know what it is about Giovanni’s Teatree formula, but it reduces my hair loss every time I wash with this shampoo. It’s most effective if I wash every day. I’ve looked at the key ingredients and tried to buy hair loss shampoo with those ingredients that specifically targets anti-hair loss anti-thinning treatments, but none of it has worked so far. So I don’t know WHY this Teatree formula would work for my hair loss. I don’t know if it grows any hair at all, but when I use this every day, I go from losing 50 strands of hair in the shower to 10-20. However, it makes my scalp itchy when I use it continuously 4 or 5 times a week, so I use it maybe 2 times a week… also so that I can work some biotin shampoo into my washes (since I only wash my hair every 2 or 3 days). Then I realized I could combine the Giovanni Tea tree shampoo with my biotin shampoo in my palms and wash that way. But like I said, the tea tree makes my head itch a bit, so I can’t leave it on for too long. I feel like it’s really strong because the longer I leave it on, the tingly becomes too intense for me.I’m still trying to find a formula that works for anti-hair loss that has Giovanni’s Tea tree ingredients.For some background: I am female, 37, curly hair, have hypertension, previously took olmesartan but now changed to lisinopril and oral 2.5mg minoxidil. Giovanni Tea Tree shampoo has helped during all of these medications, but didn’t completely stop all hair loss.

I rarely write a review, and why would I bother on shampoo, but I have to say, this has not only cleaned my hair well, but my hair also looks better. When I put on the shampoo, I leave it sit a few minutes, and I feel it penetrating my scalp which is NOT something I had in other shampoos. I highly recommend this product. It was fair priced, and it really does a great job. I do not think you will be disappointed.

If you're looking for a shampoo that doesn't have all of the extra added junk in it, is nontoxic and makes your hair feel soft like an alpacas fur, this is your stuff. It smells good, makes your scalp feel tingly and gets your hair ultra clean. It's so good that I don't even need conditioner. Will purchase for life because I'm that obsessed with it. Good stuff.

Love this stuff. Both my husband and I use it and he has flaky scalp issues but it’s noticeably less with this and it’s better ingredients than the Head and Shoulders brand he used before. Just bummed about shipping because even though it was in a plastic bag inside the box about a half a cup of product leaked out and got all over the inside of the box and another item I had ordered.
