Purchased for my significant other some time ago, who has short waves. It works well for him and has been durable over several months. The softer bristles are a little too soft, so they don't really get used, but it's nice to have the options. The handle is a little short, also, but not short enough to where it's really obstructive or difficult to grip - just a little awkward for larger hands. The side with thicker/hard bristles has a good thickness to it. It starts off a little tough, but softens over time. I have longer wavy hair and sometimes make use of the side with thicker bristles, also. Overall, this was a good buy for our purposes at a good price.

Brotha’s Review:PERFECT texture balance for both side. Soft and Ridged. The ridged side is perfect for my facial hair. I keep it close and the ridged side helps prevent ingrown hairs. Pulls the hairs straight. The soft side is a great finish on my facial hair and it’s perfect for my low cute head hair. I would not use the ridged side for my head. Might scratch my head up. It’s really ridged on that side. PERFECT!Great price point as well!

This brush is great!!! Everyone should brush their hair with a boar bristle brush (that was a mouth full). It adds shine and softness and with the right products waves. 1 side is firm and the other side is soft.

Obviously a high quality brush. My hair is thick and the stiff side bristles penetrate down to my scalp giving me a good massage as I brush. I'm quite happy with this brush!

While both brush sides do actually brush very nicely the handle it WAY too small. The handle is not like pictured or like in the video at all.- The bristles are really nice quality, none have broken or fallen out.- It does help to distribute natural hair/scalp oil adding to your hair shine and health.- While the stiffer side is a bit ruff on the scalp not so much as to make it painful.- The softer side is only really good for the very top layer of hair, but it does work good at that.- Ok so now for the handle, the wood is nice and pretty but if you are five it would be great. It is way too short and stubby. It ends halfway in your palm so when you brush it uncomfortably pushes on your palm.With the way the handle is made it is more comfortable to hold it where the bristles are.Honestly if the bristles did not work so well I would return it because of the handle but it is almost just as hard to find one of these with good bristles. I don’t know what it with these brush companies can’t handle (pun intended :) ) both nice handle and nice bristles you get one or the other.
