Very Strong & Stable Mounts at a Great Price
I used these mounts to install my two Newpowa 100Watt Solar Panels to an existing pole. The mounts are well built and solid. Don't be overwhelmed by all the bolts, nuts and washers; follow the instructions and you'll be able to assemble these mounts in short order. When I first assembled the mounts I was concerned that I wouldn't be able to use them with my panels. The Newpowa panels are large square panels which differ from other 100Watt panels which are rectangular. This seemed to be a problem because they were a bit too wide to securely mount without the charge block on the back of the panel butting up against the cross beam. After some remeasuring and reorienting the panels I was able to mount them and they have been working perfectly for the last several weeks. The U bracket is very large so I had to install a 2x4 on the pole to give it enough girth to secure the U bracket in place and prevent the whole assembly from spinning. I am very happy with the end result and the solar panels are properly aligned with the sun. One thing to keep in mind adjusting the angle is time consuming as you have to manually torque each bolt when adjusting the angles. I suggest slightly tightening them until you have the angle you want then go back and torque down each bolt.

Shpuld be mechanically inclined
Item was delivered with missing fashioners. The renogy solar panel mount for 100 w panels is a solid, quality product. The packing was not. The plastic pouch that holds the bolts, nuts and washers had a large hole. Someone intentionally opened the pouch prior to packaging. Most of the nuts, washers and lock washers spilled into the box during shipping. This wouldn't have been a problem if the box had been taped along all seams. Sadly, the ends of the box weren't taped. The openings allowed some of the washers to escape. I made do with the parts received. I easily assembled the mount and panel on a 4x4 wooden pole by myself. Renogy would sell more of these mounts if they would (clearly) video mount assembly, and post on youtube.

Well into a dozen or so of these
Material quality is excellent. Sometimes I’ve had scraps of aluminum from machining still left in the channels and the packaging has a lot to be. Assembly is very straightforward and one person can easily get it done in about 10-15 minutes. All aluminum and stainless steel.

Bad support after kit arrived with missing parts.
Company would not provide three missing nuts. I tried two different chats, one to Renogy and one to the Renogy store at Amazon. Both said I needed to contact the other. Also there is a design flaw on the L brackets. They have perpendicular bolts and nuts that need to occupy the same space.

Renogy Pole Mount
I recently made a decision to install a small off grid solar system to supply my basic electrical needs. While I have had years of experience working with electronics. I was a complete novice when it came to generating electricity with solar panels. As such I choose to start my learning process with one 100 watt Renogy monocrystalline solar panel.Having an iron pipe already in place from an unused satellite dish. The perfect solution for mounting my new solar panel appeared to be by ordering the Renogy pole mount available here on Amazon. The pole mount arrived on time and well packaged in a 32" x 5" x 3" box. The assembly and installation manual was quite detailed including a parts list and drawings. All necessary hardware for assembly and mounting on the pole was included. Please note that you will need a few hand tools to complete the installation which are not supplied. The Renogy pole mount consists of aluminum and stainless steel except for the two 4" U-Bolts, washers and nuts which attach the mount to the pole. I completed the installation by myself without help. First by attaching the mount to the pole and then mounting the solar panel onto the pole mount using the supplied hardware. The completed installation is quite stable and has already weathered 50+ mph wind gusts. As an added plus I have found that by turning the solar panel on the pole to face the sun during the day. I can significantly increase the amount of watts generated each day. I am using this 100 watt off grid system to power my Compaq laptop (25-30 watts), a 2014 Vizio 32 inch smart TV with backlight set as low as possible (20 watts) and several very low wattage LED's (total 11 watts) for lighting. On sunny days I have no shortage of power using either the laptop or TV well into the night. Though I try not to use both at the same time! In the future I hope to replace my laptop with a more efficient HP 14" Chromebook hopefully allowing for the addition of a SunDanzer DCR50 solar refrigerator.I am quite happy with the Renogy pole mount and would certainly buy it again!

Design could use improvement for M8 T-Bolt attachment to L-Bracket
The hardware package had only 9 M8 Cap Head Bolts, should have had 10. Not the end of the world, but it was an aggravation non-the-less. Main reason for the 3/5 rating was the difficulty in fastening the T-Slotted Brackets to the L-Bracket with the M8 T-Bolts. The holes in the L-Bracket for the M8 T-Bolts need to be relocated further out ...to allow more room for attaching and securing the M8 T-Bolt nuts. (Barely enough clearance from the protruding M8 Cap Head Bolt Nuts that secure the L-Brackets to the L-Channel to allow for attaching and securing the M8 T-Bolts.)To make matters worse, one of the T-Slotted Brackets was crushed on one end from shipping damage. Somewhere during shipping, this was hit hard or run over by something heavy. Would have sent it back for a replacement, but I needed the Pole Mount pronto for mounting my panel. The basic design for this product is good and the assembly is doable as is. It just needs some massaging for clearance issue that I mentioned. The damage to the product was totally on shipping.
