Great book for young kids

This was my favorite book as a child and I still have my original paperback copy. However now that I have young kids, that poor old paperback wasn’t going to make it through the long haul (31 year old paperback). so I ordered a used library hardback off of Amazon and it’s perfect it’s exactly the same it was in great condition and I’m so glad to be able to have this book for my kids if you haven’t read it it’s adorable and the illustrations really entertain young children I would highly recommend it and not just for my own nostalgia reasons .

I read it to my six year old he cracked up. The review box popped up and I asked him how many stars to give it, and he told me ten. I informed him five is the most, and he told me, “fine, five. But it deserves ten.”

This was my son's favorite book growing up. He could recite it by heart at a very young age. My son is 33 yrs old now and when you ask him about his favorite book he always says "There's an Alligator Under my Bed".

My 5 YO grandson got such a kick out of this classic! I got it for him since we evidently have an alligator under our couch that he and his grandfather antagonize regularly! ;) After reading this, he pretended to put food trailing from the couch to the back door! It was definitely a hit!

Such a great book for a kid who loves alligators. This one is a classic, and so cute. One line per page so it is a quick read. The pictures are fun and drawn with enough detail to get my non readers to flip through on their own.

A delightful little story about a young fellow with a dilemma, and how he solves it for himself (delightful conclusion! :D) Excellent illustrations. Suitable for very young children.

Loved this as a kid, now my little one loves it too. Fantastic story about a kid who shows some initiative to get rid of the alligator under his bed. Great story and lovely illustrations.
