Excellent Product
I am extremely pleased with this CD Player. The sound is good and it is very easy to use. The headphone socket allows me to connect it to a speaker system, which is very useful.I cannot fault this product in any way. I would definitely buy it again.

Cute and portable. Good gift idea
It is very good looking and portable. The sound is acceptable for a player of this size. Great for a personal music system in the bedroom, where I use it.

Amazon will not help me with return and Toshiba will not answer my calls
I received a Toshiba TY-CRU12 player that never turned on with the power. I was too busy to check in the first week and when I tried playing it, it wouldn't. I called Amazon and was told that the return date passed a couple of days back. What's frustrating is that Amazon coolly passed on the Toshiba Customer care no. to me and expects me to foilow up with them. There is no answer from Toshiba. So I am stuck with damaged good for no fault of mine. Is this professional??? Nobody cares to call. I am fed up pf trying to reach Amazon as it goes in a loop and does not connect me to any representative.

Plug and cord faulty
Product came with a faulty cord. Also, the 3-pin plug had square-type pins, which are not normally used in indiaRequires an adapter. I had to get a new cord, with a normal round two-pin plug. You should have checked the cord before sending the product.

Good CD Boombox
Nice clarity and mids. Bass as good as its not there. Cute looking and portable unit. Good remote. Total VFM. Other options were the yamaha at 18k and bose sound touch at 43k. Didn't want something so expensive and bulky so went for this model of Toshiba. Enjoying CDs in good clarity.

IT WAS UNEXPECTED. I WAS SEARCHINGFOR THIS KIND OF PRODUCT AT DIFFERENT PLACES, INCLUDING THE OLD ITEM MARKET, UNSUCCESSFULLY. I FEEL LUCKY THAT I GOT IT FINALLY. HOPE IT WORKS FOR LONG TIME.
