BEST THUMB MOUSE (way better than Logitech Ergo)
I don't write reviews often, but this mouse is the best. I initially bought the Logitech Ergo thumbball mouse, and IT WAS AWFUL! Random, severe lag spikes. I am quite tech-savvy, and I spent a lot of time troubleshooting it before I eventually started looking for other options. I am so glad I found this mouse. It is WAY better. If you're like me, buy this one. The Logitech one blows. It's sitting on my desk now, unused, and that won't change. Another gripe with the Logitech is the inability to switch to wired (which I assume would've solved the lag issue), even though it had a port. Apparently, it's only for charging lol. Whoever made that call at Logitech is out of touch. If you have a port, make it able to handle the device communication. Anyway, this mouse is NOT a cheap-feeling mouse. It feels as good, sturdy, and high-quality as the Logitech.

Great mouse, need to grab a back up for the future at this price!
I love this mouse and cannot believe I haven't had one before. Initially the ball was hard to move and getting stuck, however after removing the ball and placing it back it it glided very, very smoothly. I am also very left hand dominate so I roll the ball with all of my fingers and rest my hand on it perfectly. If someone else needs it, they just move the mouse to the right. I am used to using right handed things, and am used to the set up over a left handed mouse. I know a bit strange but it works wonders for me. I am thinking about picking up a back up due to its quality and affordability. Very happy I got it!

Logitech Replacement
i have had to replace numerous Logitech M750s after the ball malfunctions and decided to shop around now that other manufacturers have finally decide to come out with a THUMB (RSI friendly) Controlled Trackball. Here's hoping the longevity on the Elecom is superiour. Elecom does have replacement parts, but at more than half the price of a complete unit.My Linux OS (Windoze is dead to me) has no problems working with the new mouse. Left and Right click, scroll wheel, wheel tilt, Cursor Ball, forward and back buttons all work. There is no dedicated Linux Driver, so no programmable buttons for me.I am having two minor issues:1. The cursor movement is not quite as precise (Ball seems very sensitive) as the Logitech and occasionally the cursor will "drift" around the screen even though my hand is nowhere near the mouse, hence the 4/5 Star Rating.2. Numerous unwanted "right clicks"... heavy finger???Time will tell if I can adapt/live with these two issues and we will see if it's lifespan is any better.

High precision button
Really like corded option as with a trackball your moving the ball not an attached object. Also no batteries to keep up with.

has lasted, and I love it enough to have 2 of them
I am trackball addicted. using a normal mouse just doesn't work. I had the wireless version, but over time they become less reliable. The wired version reduces battery consumption, plus tends to last longer. Great trackball!

I'm left Handed and I'm using it Right now
Yes with my Left Hand on my leg (no room on my desk) I was in a bind and needed a mouse quickly I prefer a inverted mouse like this maybe one a little more suited to a lefty like me But it took a little bit to get use to it, but I adapted to it cost was a factor other mice for both left/right were higher I needed to oil the rollers under the ball 2in1 oil as was very stiff but oiled and use Now I am typing this with on screen keyboard using this mouse with my left hand to prove it will due in a pinch the Roller ball is smaller than other roller ball mice

The Elecom EX-G works with Linux!
Vendor delivered product as advertised. (Open box but good condition, and it is)And this trackball, Elecom EX-G, works EXCELLENTLY with Ubuntu Mate Linux with no additional drivers or tweaks needed. Even the tilt wheel works! Replaced my old Logitech Trackman Wheel with this one.

The best designed thumb trackball I've ever used, but one flaw
I've been using one of these for the past three years and thought it would be a good time for a replacement. The original one still works, but the tracking shows signs of wear.I ordered a new one and couldn't get it to work, so I returned it for a replacement. The replacement didn't work either and that is when I figured out what is causing the issue. The new ones come with a USB connector that doesn't fit USB ports very well. Once plugged in, the connector is very loose and does not make contact.I tried two computers, several USB hubs, and three laptops and got the same result on all of them.I really hope they correct this issue, as this is really a great thumb trackball.
