Bought two of these and they work great on the table, however the lids that come with them were useless. They wouldn't stay attached to the bowlI finally ran the lids through the dishwasher, put them on the bowls while they were still warm and placed them lid down on the counter with a heavy wood cutting board placed on top of them.The lids seem to be working fine while I have them stored. Hoping they will now work fine when needed for the next party.

I received my bowl on time & it was well packaged. We host a large Oktoberfest event in our backyard every September, this bowl is perfect for one of the traditional dips we serve which needs to be kept cool! It's just the right size, the outside acrylic bowl is attractive, plus it fits our "no glass" rule, since we have an inground pool. The lid will come in handy as I can make the dip & store it directly in the stainless steel inner bowl. I have a feeling this will be used often.

I bought 6 of these to use at my daughters wedding. We catered ourselves and it was an outdoor wedding at a farm. So southern country cooking. We put our appetizer dips in these (spinach dip and pimento cheese). They were perfect because we filled them ahead of time, put the lid on them and placed them in the fridge. Then when it was time, our friends pulled them out, put a little ice in the bottom and placed them on the tables! I now use them for parties and showers.

Bought 2, used them for the first time 7.16.16, they work great at keeping food cold, just wish both lids would stay on. Bought this to chill salad at a grad party. Didn't realize how TINY it is! Cute bowl and I'm sure it would work great for dip, just not what I expected. All the pics on website look like they have salad in it, but I guess it is actually just colorful dip or something. Could have used a pic next to a soda can for size reference.

These are very nicely made I love the fact that the bowls have a lid so I could just throw them in the refrigerator and the acrylic holds the ice so it stays cold outside and the best part is it holds a full container of dip that I mixed up so I didn't have to store any extra somewhere else

The bowl that holds the ice doesn't seem to have insulation, so the ice melts. If you have refrigerated the dip in the top bowl, it stays cool for a little while, but this setup is no better than any other bowls. Don't get your hopes up.

I use this as a shaving scuttle, based on a recommendation from a online forum.16 ounces of hot water from my Keurig machine is the perfect amount. The bottom bowl retains the heat very well, the top bowl transfers the heat fast allowing for a warm shaving lather.
