CANDICE RENOIR S.4 - MOVIE [DVD] [2016]

Wonderful acting, good writing, and beautiful setting. PLEASE Amazon and Acorn—make seasons 5-10 available on Prime Video!! I would even buy them on DVD but they’re not there either.

If this woman existed in real life she would not only be fired by the police force, but her children would probably be taken away from her. Possibly the dumbest show ever. If it weren't in French there would literally be no reason to watch it. Even so, it is not really worth it.

Having watched Seasons one through four, I can highly recommend the series Candice Renoir for its excellent flowing stories of a police detective who goes beyond Sherlock Holmes or Colombo. The main character and several others are fully-developed with personalities. The serious, sometimes grisly work of decent police detectives is portrayed with compassion and realism for them and their families. The realistic exposition of their life joys, loves, struggles, choices, failures, and successes makes them appealing and memorable.Candice Renoir gives a wonderful view into the culture of the southern French city of Sète. It is accessible through English subtitles. French language learners (and others) will find it hard to not binge on the addictive story line. It is unfortunate the the Acorn version doesn't also have French subtitles to improve the immersion impact.With ten seasons already available in France -- with French subtitles -- I would hope that Acorn will make them available. There is no indication of when I will be relieved of the intense suspense from Season 4, Episode 10. Please make it soon, Acorn!

One of the reviews (5/22) said that Candice loved Canova and that the one night stand with Antoine was disappointing. I found her Canova relationship was an attempt to avoid Antoine but when they are together in her hometown they can no longer ignore their true feelings for one another which complicates the lives of many others. From the "get go" Candice and Antoine are "meant" for each other b/c they balance each other out and work well together but like many work place relationships are under strain because of rank. The characters on the team are GREAT and actually the mysteries are interesting. It's fun to see the team members' growth and contributions. I am a romantic at heart and every team member knows C&A are good together so I can't wait for them to let the power struggle go and enjoy life! I look forward to the longevity of the series! The dry humor is great!!!! Natalie is just sooooo energetic and charming.....the glue for the team and softens Antoine!!!

Looking forward to the rest of the series (5-10). Hopefully, coming soon?!

Good series. Early delivery

Wunderbare Serie - empfehlenswert.

Eine der beliebtesten Serien, die immer zu unmöglichen Sendezeiten kam hat mich veranlasst die komplette Serie zu kaufen.Alle Staffeln alle Serien. Jetzt liegt immer eine DVD im Rekorder und kann auf Knopfdruck gestartet werden. Einer der wenigen Filme die man mehrfach sehen kann und immer noch unterhaltsam und witzig sind.Die überaus sympathische Cecile Bois zeigt und einen ganz neuen Krimi Stiel, erinnert zwar etwas an Columbo, ist aber natürlich moderner und der dauernde Konflikt mit ihren Mitarbeitern macht den Film so unterhaltsam. Ich bewerte hier alle gekauften Staffeln was ich nicht bereut habe.

Wir haben alle Staffeln und sind von jeder begeistert. Spannend, lustig, menschlich, einfach herrlich anzuschauen. Jetzt warten wir sehnsüchtig auf Staffel 5, da das Ende von Staffel 4 natürlich stark die Neugier anregt, wie es wohl weiter geht.Absolute Kaufempfehlung für alle, die neben dem Krimi auch die menschlichen Probleme der Hauptdarsteller sehen wollen und zwischendurch auch gern mal lachen. Candice spielt ihre Rolle einfach köstlich. Mal was anders und sehr sympathisch auf ihre verdrehte Art, die sie da hat und ihre Kollegen mit auf Trapp hält. Von uns Daumen hoch.

J'adore cette série à la fois hyper sympa et dynamique, c'est toujours un vrai moment de joie et de détente !!! J'adore l'actrice principale, et en tant qu'homme, qu'est-ce que ça fait du bien de voir ENFIN une belle femme pulpeuse qui a des seins, des fesses... Bref, une vraie femme quoi !! On n'en peut plus de toutes ces femmes squelettiques à la tv !!! Longue continuation à la série !!!
