Clifford Rainbow Science

This science kit is very easy to use. I just read them what Emily Elizabeth had to say and they patiently anticipated getting to make bubbles. As they played, I shared the explanation for each experiment. Everything was included in the kit and the consumable items are easily replaced with things you have around the house with young children. They can do experiments over and over again.There is a segment where you add food coloring. We did these bubbles outside. I was surprised at how easily the food coloring came out of clothes and off skin. I thought it would be a horrible mess, but it wasn't too bad.All of my kids 2, 4 , and 7-year-old loved this science kit. The next morning my 4-year- old son was tapping me on the shoulder at 7 a.m asking if we could do science again. My children are over filling with a love of learning for science thanks to the magic school bus products. I couldn't hope for anything more. Good for boys and girls. Great product, great fun.

Unfortunately, this was a big disappointment. It arrived with great anticipation but was poor quality. The cone for the volcano was cracked and broken. The book itself if not a guide but more or a few pieces of thin paper glued together. It is not an all encompassing kit. You must buy vinegar, food coloring, salt, ice, and several other items as well as a table cloths, paper plates, toothpicks, etc. just to get started. I would say google some easy science projects on the internet and you would be better off. Also, Clifford is really not part of the excitement of the kit. There's just one picture of him on the box and in the book and the kids are not too thrilled with the booklet at all. The projects they advertised were very basic. Almost to the point that they don't really work.

We received this today and my kids couldn't wait to begin the experiments! I love the simplicity and multi-purpose of the materials. There are so many experiments within this one pack! Also, the materials are thought out and not wasteful, even the plastic organizer inside the box has a purpose. We will be ordering more, this is the perfect blend of fun and learning for the summer!

I bought this set for my 4 year old daughter to help her get interested in science. This is a very basic set but it do what I hoped - it got her excited about "doing experiments". The set is very basic. It has cheap plastic tubes, measuring cup, volcano form, etc. You are really paying for the book and the Clifford name. The booklet gives very clear instructions and was easy to use. Be aware that most of the chemicals for your experiments do not come in the box. You will need to provide them yourself. Even though the kit itself was very basic I am happy with it. My daughter has enjoyed it very much and since it uses items from our kitchen we can do the experiments as many times as we want.

The measurements were a little difficult to read (due to visibility of measure on product) and while the volcano produced some foam it wasn’t big fun, it was just sort of “eh”

This is honestly disappointing and very pathetic. Don't bother purchasing this kit: do yourself a favor and buy some milk soap and food coloring and look it up online...

My 5 year old grandsons have enjoyed making their "potions". Adult supervision is required for the recipes included but they also enjoy this set with just water and whatever they come up with (soap, shampoo, toothpaste). They truly feel like scientists.
