I use these in my cockatiels cage to hold up a number of things. The grips it uses to cling between the bars is VERY tight meaning I'm not afraid it will come loose. I've even had to use a pair of plyers to loosen it a bit for it to fit snuggly which I like, it means I can control how grippy it is stuck to the wall of the cage.I use mine to hold cuttlefish and some toys for my cockatiel. They are sturdy and never come loose. I wouldn't recommend putting anything in the gripper that might break free, for fear of your bird stepping on them, which is why i only stick soft things in them so when its gripping something there's no risk of it snapping further closed. But i feel with how I'm using it it is safe for my bird and they stay in place.Overall, good product, it grips against the bars very snug, they've never fallen off or even come slightly loose. I use mine for holding cuttlefish bone and to hang shreddable toys from and they are doing a great job.
