They work. Yup. That's it.
The Short:This is digital. 1 and 0. On or Off. Yes or No. The cable works or it doesn't. It works every time. The gold plating, fancy carbon fiber look cover, etc is just eye candy and while it looks nice, it's just looks. So it's a nice looking cable, that looks well made, and functions as it should. That's it - it works. You can stop here. The Long: (if you are really bored)So lets review...0) FIRST - I can't hear a difference between one SPDIF cable and another. If I did hear a difference, it meant the cable or connection was damaged.1) ALL streaming over the internet, Blue-Ray, DVD, CD, etc is DIGITAL.2) For you to HEAR digital, it has to be converted to analog because your ears are analog.3) That converter is a DAC, or Digital to Analog Converter.4) IF you have a nice receiver with SPDIF inputs or you have one of those cool little standalone DACs, AND you haven't spent your life savings on a high-end component, you probably have a better DAC on the receiver (or the standalone, but then why are you reading this) than on the components. I'm sure my sub $100 blue-ray, my $500 TV and my 25 year old CD player do not have as good a DAC as myYes, in general, the digital bridge between devices is better than an analog bridge IF you have a good DAC on the receiving end of the circuit. My Yamaha receiver has a better DAC than my TV, my HTPC/Streamer or my CD player. All of these are relatively nice components, but I didn't spend my child's college fund on them. So I use one of these with my CD player, my HTPC, and my TV. My Blue-ray goes to the TV via HDMI, so the digital audio stream is sent from the TV to the DAC on the receiver. I've done a lot of AB testing and this is definitely a better setup for me than using RCA analog cables to the receiver from any of these components. AND if I upgrade my receiver, I automatically upgrade all of the components. Now, wake up and do something.

Not quite what I wanted, but it works
I needed this for my computer to get more high speeds connectivity to my speakers. It's a pretty good product. I thought I would have been a little better but the quality it is not bad. The speeds is pretty good on this. I can't complain for what I need it for but I think you guys would like it, did it. Because if you look at the price and what this item can do for the price is worth it

It just works
To gamers out there, that phrase means something different, but I assure everyone reading that I have no issues with this cable and it feels high quality. It isn’t an intricate or complex device and I’m no expert in cables so I can’t say much other than “it looks good, feels good, and works (good) well”. If there should be any gripe, it should be the lack of an angled plug for cable management but even then that’s a tall ask since different devices mean different spacing around that port. It was a good buy for me

Great for price
Works great, can't beat the price. Cable thickness is good, just always have to be careful with fiber optic because can break them from making harsh angles with them.

They work but not impressed
UPDATE: The seller contacted me to resolve the situation and offered a full refund. I added a star for excellent customer service. The cable did not pass a signal at first but after fiddling with the connector, it finally worked. The connectors on mine were sloppy and did not click in for a solid connection. I was using it on pricey equipment, so the receiving connectors are not to blame. It was on sale and I thought an optical signal is an optical signal so why spend more on an expensive cable? I got the answer. It’s because the quality cables also have better connectors. I’ll be replacing it with a solid one because I don’t trust these connections to last.

Quality is excellent
Unfortunately, it wasn't what I needed. It is a quality cable that actually works well. I did use it briefly and it worked as expected. I'll keep it for my other tv when I get around to setting up the sound bar.

Does what it's intended to do.
It did what it was meant to do. No problems. It's not a flimsy cord, a couple of tbe optical cords I have are like 4 strands of thread glued together. This one has a little bit of girth.

Standard cable that works
Standard fiber optic audio cable that works as it should. Looks durable enough, which my installation won't test. Connectors fit tightly and securely.
