Works well, even for an older Audi
Used this device for my 2012 Audi Q5.Was easy to set up the OBDeleven VAG app and register it to my car. Took a little research to figure out how to program for a battery replacement (Control Units -> Gateway -> Long Adaptation -> Channel 4 -> Edit the last digit of the code and save), but that went just fine. My car is on the older side, so less support for the newest features. Lots of small bits and bobs in the app to edit for someone who's interested in full customization.Recommended for an Audi owner who don't want to take the car into a dealer for small things that you should be able to do yourself.

Must have for VW
I own a 25 VW GLI and I was a bit skeptical because it’s a frequently returned product but I feel like people just buy it clear their codes and send it back. I’ve been using for over a month for different things and it’s worked great so far. I have no complaints with it. I purchased the ultimate and for the money it’s done everything I’ve needed it to do and more. Thanks!

Too expensive for what it is
The product alone is just your typical OBD2 scanner and the only thing special is the software that it comes with. This unit is terribly overpriced and they know that there is nearly other company providing this type of service for the VAG owners so they take that to be able to hike up the price.Next the app is actually fairly nice but can be slow at times, however there is a problem here as well. If you like to use any of the more advanced features like battery adaptation you need to pay for a yearly subscription. Adding up this subscription and the average price for a dealership to do an adaptation this price is also way too expensive. I understand that there other features involved with this but I literally only need it for the adaptation. I feel like this should be a common enough thing that's needs to be done that it should be included with the already overly priced scanner. So I'm quite disappointed with this tool as a person that is about saving with doing it yourself, these kind of products and their outrageous prices make me actually think twice about just taking it to a shop or even better yet not buying cars that are so locked behind stupid practices like adapting a battery that was never necessary before. Replacing a battery should be literally one of the top five easiest maintenance things to do on a car and now it is behind a $140 pay wall plus an overly expensive battery. Just terrible.

Essential for DIY Maintenance Tasks
The OBD11 device totally met my needs. I found that it was fairly fast scanning and fairly easy to use as well. I was looking to reset the service required notification on my 2015 Audi A6 which can only be reset with a scan tool. Scan tools that can reset the service required notification can cost $300 to $600. The entry level OBD11 with 10 credits I was able to reset the service notification and have credits left over for a little over $100. This makes the OBD11 a reasonably good value for the money. I was also able to do a scan on all the computer systems of the A6 which revealed no faults after 80,000 miles. My other two vehicles are a Lexus LS 500 and a Lexus TX 500h. The OBD11 is also compatible with reading Toyota/Lexus fault codes. After OBD11 releases the update to scan hybrid batteries, I am in excellent shape to do light scheduled maintenance (oil and filter changes) on all of my vehicles. The ability to do diagnostic scans together with links to fault code troubleshooting tips in the OBD11 scan tool output allows me an excellent view of the the health of my vehicles and ideas about how to troubleshoot fault codes that might be present. Overall, I am pleased with the purchase for DIY maintenance tasks.

Audi VAG Scan Tool
For a person wanting to have a really cool toy to run diagnostics, view live data and manipulate some options on their Audi, this is it. For a home handheld that contains proprietary VAG diagnostic info and has the cability to long code, there is no other like it. The bad, they charge you $180.00 annually to keep all those neat options beyond basic code running, basic testing and some live data.

Must have for VAG customization
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Needed to clear out a service inspection notice after changing out my Audi S5 instrument cluster and infotainment system. Odb11 worked flawlessly

Not as great for IOS
Great tool but I needed the ability to record the data logs and view later. If you have Android this tool is amazing. You can select a ton of parameters to monitor and then save all those numbers in a file.

Works great on VW Jetta & Golf
This OBDII reader worked great on my 2017 VW Jetta & 2019 VW Golf Sportwagen. I was able to identify the exact bad sensor from the brake module. It also has some interesting paid modifications you can do from the app. I have tried doing any of the tuning features.
