it a different way of cooking and I use it again.

The original has always had better flavor than the instant, and especially the "ready rice". I love the ready rices, but if you have time, do the box and cook it. This says "Original", however, I am old enough to know it's not QUITE original. The Original recipe called for a couple tablespoons of butter, for starters. And I could swear that it used to have a smidge more wild rice and more spices--I remember it having more flavor in the "olden days". Regardless, the box that you cook always tastes better and has better texture than your instant styles.

Uncle Bens wild rice is so good and a perfect side dish for chicken, steak or fish! However, the Uncle Ben’s wild rice that is in the pouch is disgusting. It tastes very odd. Not sure why the box is so good but definitely recommend even though the Yuka app disagrees.
