Switch for multiple fans
Wow this switch is great, I have 3 ceiling patio fans on a common speed control switch. The old switch (a1.5amp) never really worked well, except for full speed. This switch is a 5amp, now I can vary the speed for all three fans with with the slide. If you have more than one fan on a switch, and want to vary the speed, this is your switch

Yes, fully variable controlling three fans
I tried three other switches before finding this one. We are controlling three fans with a single switch. Even though the others were 5 amp as well this is the only one we found that is truly fully variable with an on/ off switch.

Humming Noise
The switch worked, but caused my fans to make a loud humming noise when they were running. I purchased a different slightly more expensive brand and everything worked with no noise. Again, this switch worked, but the noise was annoying.

Works fine, almost exactly what I was looking for
Needed a three way remote fan switch, in light almond, for an external 10" hood fan. Works fine, almost exactly what I was looking for. Instead of continuous variable speeds, it has preset fan speeds, but the variation is different enough and for my client it is just fine. Can't attest to long term durability yet, but my Leviton experience has been good for me in the past. I am a professional kitchen remodeler.

Three stars stand for Neutral or N/A. Ordered by mistake. Misread information. Actually needed a dual fan/LED light control.No idea how well it works. Seems over-prized for what it actually does. Exchanged for Lutron MA-LFQHW-WH Maestro Fan Control and Dimmer Kit, White. Hope this one work with Kitchler fan and LED lights. If it doesn't, I'll give up the DIY for this project and hire and electrician.

Works really good. Running 4 fans from two different locations. I didn't need too adjust the trim but it is easily adjustable if necessary. Instructions are clear and easy too follow. Was working in -10 C
