I have mixed feelings about this brand. Yes, PEA can be pricy, but it's coming down in price. The price on this really does seem kind of extreme, and it gives me a feeling that this company is trying to profit from those who are used to shelling out a lot of money for hemp based products that are still really expensive. There is a lot of talk about third party testing, and using " solubilized" PEA for better bioavailability..but they don't really back this up. We don't see a COA, we don't know what the source of the PEA is, and they don't explain what " solubilized" PEA is, let alone their justification for offering what seems to be a lower PEA dosage due to it.Compare this to Nootropic Depot's PEA - you get 400mg of PEA for the same amount of capsules, minus some of the extra fillers, COA already on the website, for a lower price. I don't really see a compelling reason to go with this brand over other sellers of PEA at this moment. I do think this is PEA (I just don't respond to it very strongly but I've been doing a trial for a few months to see if it finally kicks in) but it just seems kind of like this company is built on a lot of hype/PR and maybe someone who doesn't know about PEA would go in and get their product because it's new to them, but for long time PEA users for sure there are other, cheaper, arguably better options out there.

First, PEA is often made from peanuts, egg yolks, and soybeans. This brand does not mention at all where they source their PEA, nor does it have an allergy warning.Many companies get it bulk from china, which makes the sourcing unknowable really. So be forewarned if you have allergies, you may need to try PEA from a different brand with more transparency.PEA is a great way to get the benefits of a cannabinoid without the CBD. I think CBD is great and can help a lot of people, but don't forget that no matter how natural something is, it can still have side effects. CBD can, for example, interfere with common medications, raise or lower blood pressure, pulse, etc. The PEA doesn't have those side effects.These come in standard veg caps (normal size, probably a #0 or #00). The included magnesium is not a vitamin or filler, it's just a trace amount of powder with no nutritional value for anti-clumping purposes.The silicone dioxide is an anti-caking ingredient, also in trace amounts. It's not a part of the vitamin, and it's extremely common in vitamins, but I don't like it as an ingredient, and it's not necessary. I wish they wouldn't include it.You take 2 per day, so 120 pills is a one month supply. There is no vitamin on the planet that functions like an opioid - there is no such thing as a healthy supplement (or anything, really) that you can swallow and immediately be pain free. So it's normal to have to take something like this for a few weeks before noticing the difference.If you have chronic pain, chronic immune issues, &/or chronic joint issues, then you know the the asking price is well worth it if it works. If you've gone as far as you can with your doctor, I would suggest seeing an integrative or functional doctor, they can help narrow down your issue instead of just throwing supplements and home remedies at it. Likely NEA can help many people, but if your health issue requires detox or chelation, for example, then you're just covering up a problem that's only going to get worse. Make sure to see a certified doctor (like CFMP), a lot of MDs call themselves functional for marketing purposes but aren't really.

I am not well versed on Palmitoylethanolamide (PEA), however am learning more about it as I age and have more intense aches and pains. I am pretty sure I have arthritis, but I do not want to take prescription medication. I saw this and wanted to order it though I don't know much about it. From my reading and research I have found that PEA is being used to treat pain and inflammation. It is something found in foods like milk and eggs and has been used in Europe for conditions such as neuropathic (nerve) pain, inflammatory pain, endometriosis, and more. I also have neuropathy in my foot so it will be interesting to see if a supplement in this price range will offer me any relief. The dose however is two capsules a day (with food), one in the morning and one in the evening. I have read reports where 300mg of PEA per capsule isn't high enough, so if in fact I need to use more, these may not last even 60 days. Price point and effectiveness will be big factors as to whether I order this again.
