Cheap for a reason.
If you love following the instructions exactly this may not be for you.Now if the instructions show you red, they probably mean look for the white ( or black ) similar bit, you see it showing you yellow it probably means white ( or black ). If it shows you white it probably means white, it may also mean grey ... go hunt. Did you follow the instructions on page one and put something on the left ? Good now lets see the instructions as a mirror image with everything on the opposite side. Are we repeating what we did at the front at the back, the instructions let you guess and get you to count out the pieces to find out.The instructions really do set the tone for this box, it is a building set that is made to enable you to know how to think outside the box, because you soon realise you should feel lucky it came in a box.I also had pieces missing, I did not recieve any cars in my Box and on top of that I also had wrong pieces so overall not a great build. I am still not sure how much value it was for £6.99, I did not expect a brilliant product, but I was hoping it would resemble the photos.Downsides- Instructions that are simply not good, and only 417 blocks in the instructions for a 440 block set- Pieces missing- Wrong Pieces included, with a few small uneeded extra's which may make up to 440.Pluses- On the plus side I do like the little people included, they not great but I have seen far worse.- Cheap- No cars in mine and I bought it since I thought it had those little cars in, my little guy likes his little cars.I only had a few bad blocks that did not want to play with the others.In the end I did not break up the little people for the shop displays but kept them together since I figured the children would prefer them that way.It really should be 2 1/2 but it is either 2 or 3 stars ...

Interesting design, let down by quality
You get what you pay for with this set. Instructions vague, quality not there. If LEGO is 10/10, this is 4/10. I am a long time LEGO builder but am prepared to give the alternatives a try. This falls short.

Bit fiddly but builds a nice looking building. Very stiff to take apart again though

It was a birthday present for my granddaughter, but with so many pieces missing it was awful!
