wow!
I used to have a big collection of tea bags, but after reading that most tea bags aren't healthy, I switched to loose tea out of toxicity concerns, so the amazing TASTE of this loose tea was a terrific surprise - had I realized how superior this type of tea is - I would have quit tea bags long ago!

This is nature's gift of tranquility
Chamomile tea is astonishing in its ability to relax us. Since tea bags, even of organic teas, usually have lead and carcinogens that steep into the drink, loose every tea is the way to go, including chamomile. This brand is very coarse with huge flowers that tend to block my steeper when they swell rendering the tea less aromatic and less tasty. The huge flowers create a weak tea. However, the organic tea does have no sticks or other contaminants, is priced bearably and is an antioxidant if what we call my memory with exaggerationserves me. Perhaps not sealing the package well caused loss of flavor and aroma, so it's on me, not the tea.

Really Delicious (and Pretty, Too!) It’s German, Matricaria recutita
I bought a 4oz bag of Nature Restore Chamomile a couple of months ago and it was super delicious, smelled amazing, and in addition, it’s pretty, too. I drink a cup almost every night, so I’m purchasing another bag. Last time I was curious as to whether it was German or Roman chamomile, so I wrote the seller today. They responded within a couple of hours, as follows:“Our Chamomile Flower Bags have the latin name - Matricaria recutita, syn chamomilla They are German Chamomile flowers and originate in Egypt. The plant is an erect annual growing two to three feet in height. The flower heads have a yellow center an white petals (much like daisies); these petals are often found detached from the calyx. They go through hefty hand-cleaning processes to reduce foreign matter while still maintaining quality control throughout the whole process. The process is rigorous, from harvesting to packaging, but we do everything the natural way so that we can maintain the title Organic, unlike many other brands.”Cool to learn their harvesting, cleaning, etc., techniques, too :)I’m about to make a cup, and as a treat I add a little raw honey :) Yum Yum :)
