Never worked!
I thought this would be fun for my grandchild for Christmas. I bought it early and hid the box from the kids. We got it out to put together on Christmas Eve and it did not work. It has constant beeping saying metal is present, the beeping never stops. There is no metal around, but it never goes silent. Since I bought in early, (November 1) Amazon won't allow me to return. Do not buy this product, there are several other brands available.

A great gift
My 5 year old granddaughter loves it! I threw coins on her front lawn and after she unwrapped the Metal Detector I suggested we go outside and see how it works. She was thrilled she found the coins.

What you see is not what you get
Constantly just beeps even after following the instructions on calibration. Not to happy w product but grandson just turns volume down. This is his first detector and is excited. Will be getting a different one. Pay extra money and get a better one. Not worth the money but it is his.

Does NOT work!
This product does not work AT ALL. It detects no metal, and most of the time it just continuously beeps when it isnt around metal.
