Works !!! My cat immediately stopped scratching the sofa and my bed!!!

Our cat stopped scratching the area where the protective liners are on the chair. I love their thickness, affordability, quality, and softness.

Concept behind this is very simple. You put the sheets around the furniture and when the cat touches it it’s a non-desired tactile sensation and they leave it alone. After while they leave the furniture alone and you can peel it off and you don’t have to worry about it anymore.So here is reality. It’s going to capture every little bit of dust and cat hair and dog hair and people hair and everything else in the area. So be prepared for that.Also please know that on occasion (1 of 4 this batch) you get a stupid cat that likes the taste of the adhesive. Said cat will not be put off or offended by the fact that he now has a sheet of plastic wrapped around his body. You would think he would stop going back after the second tape hug…but no.Oh and not all of the sheets are big ones. Many are half sheets. So I’m gonna need to order more.So with that said, I can give only four stars

Cats don't scratch anything now!

I thought I had reordered a product I had previously ordered, but the one I received was not the same (despite using the order again in my Amazon account). These are super sticky on both sides, and everything sticks to them. Also, the little arrow tab used to help guide you doesn't come off, so I had to cut that area off the sheet to remove it. Terrible product.

Easy to apply, and my cats hate it!

These are great to prevent cats from scratching. We recently bought an adjustable bed. The darn cats started to destroy under the bed bc it’s fabric. I was so mad and had to find something before they made it worse. I bought these. They’re easy to apply and stayed on well. After 3 months I replaced them with new ones on under and on the sides of the base for the bed. They were still sticking to the cloth material but the top part lost their stickiness bc of the sheets and blankets and touching them. They still didn’t scratch it even though it was no longer sticky.BEWARE: if you put this on a wood finish like a frame/trim or doorway, it will take off the finish!!! I haven’t tried it on a painted wall and don’t want to risk it. The trim was already ruined from before I bought my house from the previous owners cats scratching it. My cats started to scratch it too no matter how many scratch post I have (6) it’s just something they do… anyways o put this up and they stopped clawing everything that has this.When I first out it on the trim I didn’t put it on straight. I had to remove it and replace it. It was only on a few seconds and still removed the finish. Take your own risk.As for fabric I have noticed anything, not even sticky residue. It remains clean.
