Time to Hygge

These images are beautiful and simple to color. I love using alcohol markers and colored pencils with this. I will be gifting this coloring book, giving finished pages as gifts or framing for wall art, and buying more books from this artist. Really really glad I treated myself to this. Wanted something to do around my kids instead of just scrolling my phone.

Simply gives a feeling of calm

I love this coloring book a lot, so much cozy illustrations (and not too intricate).I also love that the illustations were repeated, which made my fear of failure a whole lot less.Jen is one of my current favorite artists.The only thing that I didn't like, is that it is printed on Amazon paper (which is of average quality), which made the pages colored with my Ohuhu alcohol markers 'feather'. I would color neatly, but the pigment of the alcohol markers would travel further because of the average paper, causing pigment sometimes being outside of the lines.In the future, I will probably buy her PDF's in her online shop and will print them on good quality paper.I have not tried using coloring pencils on this paper yet. But since coloring pencils usually don't work so well on smooth paper, I don't think I will like that.

Nachdem ich mich so sehr in die "Modern Cottage Collection" verliebt hatte, dauerte es keinen Tag, bis ich mir dieses hier bestellt habe.Man findet hier u.a auch Illustrationen aus der "Modern Cottage Collection" und es ist ein 2er Set, die meisten Bilder gibt es also zwei Mal.Finde ich aber nicht schlimm, so kann man sich ausprobieren.Und der Preis auch hier unschlagbar.

I’m quite picky when it comes to colouring books. I love this one because it is less “busy” than most and is very satisfying to look at!
