StonKraftCollector Edition Wooden Chess Pieces Chess Coins Pawns Chessmen Figurine Pieces (3.75" Black)

Very solid wood pieces with excellent weight to them! I paired these pieces with the Pallas Rounded Corners Inlaid Mahogany 17x17” chess board and they are a perfect match! (see photos)Gonna be hard going back to small or travel size pieces now that I’ve started playing with these. Have carried them to numerous location and so far nothing chipped and doesn’t show wear.

What a wonderful surprise. I was expecting mediocre chess pieces, but instead received a very nice set of chess pieces. The pieces have a nice look to them, a nice weight to them, and came with two queens. So worth the price. The best chess pieces for the price. 😊👍🏼

The chess set does not look like the picture. I ordered the black set. According to the picture, the chessmen looked black and white. Well, there is no white. The set I received is black and brown, an unappealing brown. I contacted the company and they told me that they have no white chessmen and that those in the picture were just a light colored wood. If black and brown chess pieces are OK with you, then this set might work. I did not open the bag but they looked nice and were weighted. The picture should be changed to show the product you actually get.

I love the size great touch

I did not like how the dark brown and light brown set are almost the same in color and hard to tell apart. They needed to stain the dark brown pieces darker so that you can tell the difference easier.

These are some very nice chessmen despite they're made in China. Good detail and well balanced weight. Even color on the white pieces and a nice smooth finish to boot. The extra queens are icing on the cake. They look good on either of my boards with 2" and 2.25" squares respectively . Should last a lifetime and could be considered something collectable and an heirloom. A++

Great Chess Set... but no extra queen for promotion

The quality of the pieces is very very good. The pieces have a very good weight. The only sour point is that it doesnt come with a carry bag and for the price it should have had one extra queen. I still am not deducting a star because of the sheer quality of the pieces.

I loved this pieces! For the price you cannot beat them. I had bought Poland Wegiel's before this one, but that finishing was not so good, and the thing I did not liked the most was the size of the bishop, too small. The king and the queen were too big compared with other pieces. However, these pieces from Stonkraft (from India) have a perfect and balanced size. Also, I wanted real black pieces and not brown ones (personal preference). The king's weight as in the picture is 52g. The pieces were perfect in a board with 2cm squares (see the picture).
