We used to dread car trips with our little dog. She'd either whine in her crate (crate strapped in for safety) or scrabble around the car trying to get into the front seat. We were all exhausted long before we reached our destination. I was impressed with the safety testing on this harness and hopeful it would ease the strain of taking Maisie across the state to our daughter's college graduation. We did some practice rides during the week before leaving town, putting a cushion on the seat to give her some height so she could see out the window when sitting up. Even more important, she seemed happy to have boundaries and know which is her seat in the car. We had a great trip. Now, I take her for rides around town and on errands. She willingly gets into her "car coat" and seems pleased to be asked along. Big difference for us. There are cheaper harnesses, but this feels sturdy, well made and comfortable, and after getting her suited up a couple of times, it's a quick process. This purchase has been well worth it.

This harness arrived this afternoon, and I fitted it to our Giant Schnauzer. Large fits him nicely. This is a substantial harness, and it is well made. The stitching is tight, with small stitches, so there are more stitches to the inch - which can lend to the strength of the attachment.The chest portion seems very heavy duty, with some type of heavier reinforcement under the overlying fabric. In other words, the chest plate is not just two pieces of heavy duty fabric sewn together. The entire harness does look as if it could prevent a dog from flying forward on sudden impact. At any rate, heavier duty harnesses, well made and thought out, would seem to have a better chance of preventing him from hurling forward on a sudden stop. So we invested in this one. AS with all Kurgo harnesses, it was easy to put on, and adjust. And unless the dog takes to chewing on them occasionally (as ours sometimes does) -- they wear like iron.I'd recommend this based on construction, attention to detail, and prior experience with Kurgo harnesses.

We bought this harness to use in the car. It was sturdy enough, but had two major flaws:1. Did not stay tight. I have a wiggly dog. She managed to loosen the harness enough to step out of it on several occasions. Most of the time, the harness was just loose after our car trip.1.a. Would loosen on doggy potty breaks. Yes, I know the page clearly started the harness is not for walking dogs, but it is a pain to take off. I worked expect that if the stuff needed to put on a car trip, I could just keep the harness on the dog. Instead, it just kept losening2. The front plate of the harness kept on pulling the short fur off my dogs chest! I thought she had a rash until I found the tufts of fur on the harness.3. Not quick to put on or take off... which adds to the annoyance of point 1.I ended up purchasing a different harness. Pretty unhappy with this one, specially after I realized it was slowing shaving my dogs chest without her concent.

This Kurgo harness just slips right off. The buckles do not tighten and my dog can turn and twist just a little bit and it stretches apart and comes right off. Also the quick release buckles are a joke you have to angle them just right and insert them into the other buckle the right way. My dog is not super rambunctious but if you tell him we are going for a car ride he gets very excited. You can't expect him to sit still while I buckle on this harness. it's a really terrible design for the price. We used it a couple times and it failed each time. I had high hopes for the price that I was buying a good harness to keep my 68 lbs Lab safe in the car but this is a disappointment.

Originally, we ordered the Kurgo Tru-Fit Enhanced Strength Dog Harness in small (for 25 pounds and under) as we expected our male standard poodle puppy to be about 15 pounds when we got him, although he turned out to be 20. It was a terrible fit: tiny straps, awkward to put on, and completely inappropriate to his chest size. We returned it, and after some research we ordered this Kurgo (Kurgo Car Safety Harness). At this point we got the medium, as he was already up to 23 pounds. Pros: this harness is STURDY. It makes the other harness look like a joke. It's also easier to handle, making it faster to put on and reducing our pup's anxiety about it. Cons: just as the previous harness was intended for smaller dogs and wasn't really appropriate to a then-20 pound dog, this harness seems intended for larger 30+ pound dogs, despite the 25-50 lb. range they list. At least this harness is more sturdy, and he'll grow into it quickly.

Great product: easy to put on and I can fit the seatbelt snuggly to my pups. I have 3 pups and I purchased this product for it’s safety features; I was not disappointed. My dogs are also comfortable in it. It doesn’t rub or cause them to scratch at it. My dogs are now comfortably safe while in the car and I use the harness once we reach our destination with leash to exit car.

I only use this harness when my dog is in the car. Keeps him attached to the seat belt with the seat belt extension.

Die beiden Nähte im Brustbereich waren zu knapp genäht. Direkt nach dem auspacken fielen mir die aufgerissenen Nähte auf. Deshalb zurück.

Me gustó que es fuerte y seguro, no me gusta por que es bastante rígido y no se puede tumbar bien y es bastante difícil de poner..

Pettorina di buona fattura. Solida, ben rifinita, comoda. Ottima per gli spostamenti in auto e per passeggiate in luoghi non molto sicuri. Protettiva e ben fasciate risulta ben tollerata dal cane. La consiglio specialmente a chi si sposta molto con il proprio animale. E' sicura!

Leider zu groß für meine Bullihündin. Zu kompliziert u umständlich es anzulegen.
