I bought this as a replacement for one I lost I was apprehensive about this product but upon receipt of the product I was very surprised to find it in a hard case which is robust and I believe would stand up to some impact wouldn't recommend this though, when I opened it up inside I found a beautifully made torchwhich had some very good weight to it,it wasn't too heavy just enough for you to know you are holding it,it felt very well made to the touch everything is well machined and very smooth action there was 2 types of battery in side as well as the very big battery that you see in the picture there is also 3 AAA batteries in the box as well which has their own holder and also a sleeve to make it the same size as the big one and I fits perfectly into the battery compartment the cap screws on seamlessly no snaggs or binding as you do find with some cheaper torches there is on the main body an bung if you want to call it which houses a charger port which prevents the ingress of dust and water with a charger cable for the the big battery I do not think it would charge the AAA batteries but can only try, the button to turn on the torch is very firm and well positioned it has 5 modes the brightest was the surprise it lights up a long way 3-400 yards easily each press of the button dimms the light down the third press is the lowest beam of light then you have a flashing light on the 4th press which is very bright and when pressed for the 5th time you have the SOS ... ---... This in an emergency would alert anyone to the fact you are in danger or need help whether you in pitch black night or the brightest of days this product would be a great addition to an emergency kit or even day to day life also in addition to the features already mentioned you have a slider style action on the light which can be used to make the light either wide or narrow which can be used to light up an entire area or make a precise point to aim at, my only warning is that when in operation DO NOT AIM direct at the eyes as this light is very powerful even on the lowest beam all in all this is a perfect addition to any household whether it be just in case or for that emergency also it comes with its own holder so you can carry it around with you on a belt clip.

We live in the countryside with no main road just lanes with no street lighting brought this torch after reading reviews and can say what a fantastic product it is comes in a lovely case for safe keeping use the torch every morning it has transformed the walk and given a great sense of security with its large bright wide beam lighting up the area ahead you can’t be missed , great price Well made torch , nice weight to carry great price Canand will recommend this product highly So so happy thank you

I’ve had a few torches lately and they’ve all been rubbish last for a couple of months then die?, this one is top dog the beam is ultra bright wide, and long brilliant torch, well made strong great little case it comes in money well spent, you’ve got to pay more for quality and this is quality, 100% highly recommended.

1) There are five modes, ie, high, medium, low beam, strobe and SOS. I can't find this in the instructions anywhere, but you don't have to sift through all the modes to turn the torch off. For example, if you are on medium, just hold the on/off button down for a couple of seconds and the torch will turn off.2) Use the main rechargeable battery. The three AAAs are only for a back-up and the torch will get hot if you put these in, as they are not used to carrying such a high current. The torch wall stays cold to touch when the rechargeable battery is inserted.3) The small metal ring for attaching the wrist strap is not strong. You could lose the strap. I took the larger, stronger ring off the mini light, threaded the wrist strap through it and threaded the larger ring through the black metal ridge on the end of the torch. I also attached it by the oyster clasp.4) The torch itself has a very bright beam, both outside in the dark and enough to light any room in a power cut. There are some very specific instructions in the enclosed booklet about storage of the rechargeable battery when not in use, ie, charge it fully, take it out when the torch is not in use.5) The Amazon listing is incredibly unclear in the listing as it states that this torch is 500,000 lumens. Yeah, right! A 200,000 lumens whites out a football stadium. The Lumitact website states that this torch is 'up to 15,000 lumens'. Not much different! Batteries aren't sold on the Lumitact site but the battery has its specifications written on it. Amazon sell replacements.6) It's not very heavy (it might be for an elderly person or someone with no strength or grip in their fingers). The on/off button is easy to access and my elderly mother could turn it on/off but it took an effort. Still, it's far better than a lot of other torches.7) All said, it's a good torch for outside, to have in the car and the SOS is a nice touch.

Very bright as others have mentioned. Light enough to carry and the rechargeable battery lasts a long time.There’s definitely a design problem with the on button. Numerous times I’ve accidentally switched it on while it’s in my pocket?Other than that , it’s a pretty good torch and I would definitely recommend getting one.

Best torch I have ever bought. So I had to by an additional one for my son's 21 birthday. Three years later and it's still an excellent product. And my son also speaks highly of his too.Excellent, powerful torch (exceptionally brilliant)with a good battery life but the bulb does heat up so I wouldn't recommend this for children at all.
