Nice wood but they are to thick

These spoons are gorgeous straight out of the package! Having said that, I will say, that they are a bit of a hassle to keep up. After the first couple uses they looked a little dull, I don’t have any food grade mineral oil so after I wash them with soap and water I hand dry and dab a little evoo on them and they go back to they’re gorgeous original state. I leave them out on the counter to dry over night and use them next day. You have to do this every time you use them, it’s a lot of work! Wouldn’t recommend if you’re a busy person and have zero time for this up keep. If you don’t take the time to oil them, they get dull and will crack with in the first month.

These stirring spoons are extremely well made of teak wood. They are not treated or coated and are ultra smooth. They are perfect for my single cup French Press Coffee Maker. I highly recommend these for smaller stirring tasks.

These teak knives feel beautiful in the hand; the curve fits into the palm perfectly. Gorgeous. The only thing I am not sure of is the blade is rather thicker than I anticipated.... I guess I assumed it would be really thin (like a knife). It is not, so we'll see how that feels/works. Either way, even if I don't use them as butter knives they will be useful as utensils and cheese spreaders at parties, etc. I love the feel (and the feel good story about the company) that I will be buying more, but cooking utensils this time!

The spoons are only good for photography, but not for eating with food. When putting the spoon in porridge, it has strong bitter and unpleasant smell , the smell also ruined the porridge.
