Good fan for the money. Only for smaller rooms
Pros:The fan does what its supposed to do. It produces a ton of light, the brightness and warmth settings are great.Super easy install. I was replacing an older, directional lighted fan, and reused the same hardware.Much quieter than my old fan, even at max settings. It does have a memory so that if you turn off the light switch, it will turn the light back on to the setting it was at, but NOT the fan.Came packaged well.Cons:The build quality isn't great, so I am curious how long this fan will last.Even on max settings it doesn't move a ton of air, but its enough. Less than my older, traditional, tri-bladed fan.The wire nuts that came with the fan are nowhere near big enough. It wasn't a big deal since I reused the ones I already had installed.Overall, given the price point (I got this on a flash deal), I can't complain too much. I am curious how long the fan will last. The fan is cheap and the build quality shows. Given that, it does what its supposed to do. Be warned, this fan is really designed for small rooms. My room is 12ft x 8ft and its perfect for it. I can see the fan not moving too much air in larger rooms.

I ordered a 2nd! Then it broke. Almost immediately.
I loved the first I ordered a second in April for a guest room I hardly use- maybe 15min once a month. The last week I’ve been using this room a bit more, maybe 5 hours of electricity total to the fan/light, and now as you can see in the picture, the new one closest to me will not change to natural or warm light. When I attempt to change from the cool/bright light setting the light turns off completely. EXTREMELY dissapointed.

So good, I bought a second one...
I bought one of these and had my husband installed it within 10 to 15 minutes. I wasn't sure exactly how much area the fan would cover, but it took the place of an old wobbly ceiling fan with light. It was so nasty to clean and even though it said a hugger, it still was pretty deep with the fixture on it too. I was concerned if the fan would be strong enough to feel and it is. Our bedroom is a fairly large room, but the bed is pretty well under the light. On 6th speed it really does put out plenty of airflow. I also like the three different types of lighting. Evening, we turn the tone to natural...not getting the led before bedtime. It has separate selection to turn the light off with the fan on, and vise versa. It has a timer for light and fan to shut off if you like. Anyway, was so impressed with the first one, we bought another one the next day for my workout/craft room.

Don't buy this to replace an old ceiling fan, use it to convert a light to a fan+light
If you have a traditional fan, particularly one with a fan controller and light controller, skip this. It has a very specific design intent in that you can't just mount it to a normal fan electrical box and HAVE to use the drywall anchors to install this or you will get vibration. Its also extremely light weight, an advantage when you don't have a electrical box in the location, but also means its very small and so noisy for a given airflow and poor efficiency since spinning a small blade faster is less efficient and noisy than spinning a very large blade like a 60" slower. We ended up going with a traditional fan albeit also with remote, and the advantage of the Hunter is that it doesn't beep when power is off and when you flip the switch it has a memory to recall the last setting and put it back to that (light and/or fan). This small fan by contrast can't be turned off, it always glows slightly even when turned off from the remote, and you can't turn off the fan on the remote without also turning off the light and every time you turn on the light it forgets what light setting you last had it on.Reasons to buy this:1) You have very low ceilings as this is very low profile2) You don't have an electrical box and only have drywall to mount it to.Reasons not to buy this over a traditional fan:1) You have high ceilings (this will look too small and sacrifices functionality)2) You have an electrical box and so would want to use its mounts.3) You have a fan controller or light switch you want to preserve functionality of, as this fan will beep non-stop if you turn the light switch on the wall off and requires constant power 24x7.4) You want high efficiency and low noise fan, then get the biggest fan you can for the space blade length-wise.

works great for small home office
I have a small bedroom that has been converted to my home office. I replaced the old light fixture (and a floor fan) with this new ceiling fan/light. I really love this new fan/light fixture. First of all, i really like it's modern look. The light is totally adequate for my smallish room (12' x 10'). The fan is directly overhead of my desk chair and works great-- it is quiet and puts out plenty of air to keep me cool. I find that that the lowest fan speed setting is generally perfectly adequate.I find it humorous that some customers reviews were complaining that the fan was "smaller than expected". The description clearly states the fan is 19'7" and it works great for a smaller space. Best not to use your imagination when thinking about how big the fan is.Also, folks were complaining that if one uses the light switch to turn off the fan/light and then turn the light switch back on-- that only the light comes on and not the fan. For me personally that is exactly the way i want it to work so I don't consider that a problem.I am very happy with this lighted ceiling fan and highly recommend for use in a home office.
