I have been looking to reduce my use of plastic, these are fantastic. I have a small freezer so rely on freezer bags as a more efficient form of storage but I hated using plastic. These are a good price point (they are reusable) and they get the job done, I have also used them to marinade food and they are impressively sturdy. I gently wash and dry them and they are ready for another use. They are compostable so do not use in the microwave and they won't last forever because again they are compostable which is fine. I am very happy!

Seems to work just like plastic ziploc bags

These are great! They are great for carrying snacks, and for freezing things in. The ziplocks are sometimes hard to open, but other than that, these are perfect!

Durable, reusable, but yet biodegradable when you do have to pitch them. Makes me feel better using these than regular plastic zip bags.

I used these bags to replace plastic bags but I’ve noticed they “sweat” in the freezer. It doesn’t seem that they are completely air tight even when closed properly. That being said they hold liquids just fine, but plan on freezer burn or semi defrosted goods if you use them in the freezer.

Love using compostable products and these are great! They are strong work very well.

So happy that i can now stop purchasing plastic bags forever! Yeah for the fishies! The zip lock isn't the best but I didn't expect it to be, but it works most of the time. Very pleased with this product! Hope others start using them too! They also keep veggies fresher longer it seems.

Tough, durable and eco friendly- what more could you want?

Today I went fishing around in my compost bin to try and find the bag I threw in there about six months ago. I was fully expecting this to be a bit of a con and to find the bag intact. So I was really pleased that I couldn't actually find a bag at all. However after a bit more digging around I find the remnants and I photograph them here. I think another couple of months and the bag will be completely combusted. My composter isn't a very hot one and most of the food I throw in there and scraps are eaten by insects. So it's barely risen in level in 10 years they probably take me 400 years to fill it. So yes, In a very inefficient composter these bags take 6 to 8 months to come past, and that they actually do that is absolutely brilliant!!
