Samsung Galaxy Tab A 7-Inch Tablet (8 GB,Black) (Renewed)

Recieved these yesterday. I got these for my 6 & 5 yr old LO'sI've always purchased them tablets from walmart the kid made ones and would go through atleast two a year....screen would break or just wouldn't last. So this year I wanted to try somthing different. These came when expected. Nice repackaging But, one thing that had me dazed and confused was I order the 7A and Got 6A? Not sure if that means anything. I ordered cases specifically for the A7 tab but, I've emailed the company they sent cards in the mail with this item. Renewed item. So I will update that. Anyway my kids love love them. I linked my gmail's to both no problem. I did order memory cards for both these tabs... in other reviews I seen where there is no room but we downloaded abcmouse, YouTube of course and kids messenger w/o a problem of space. The memory cards aren't in yet. Anyway so far my LO's are pleased and so am I...so far.Btw, in other comment reviews I read how the touch screen is a bit slow or you have to like make sure your clicking what you want firm and all though in away this is true. I find it works great for my LO's because for kids they could touch somthing there not trying and with the way the tab is it's like a good typing speed or touch speed for kids? If that makes sense?

Amazon delivered package in perfect condition. However, the third party seller did not prepare the tablet properly. First, the tablet came with ‘talk to speech’ turned on. So, you could not operate the buttons properly or type anything, as the system would get stuck on that button and not allow anything further to occur. After restarting a few times and no changes, I figured out how to reboot the device and it finally turned that feature off. After that I proceeded to the initial set up screen, only to repeatedly be met with the following error message when initially signing into Google: “unable to sign in to device due to a recent password change. Please try to sign in again 24 hours after the password change was performed.”. Funny thing is I WAS NOT EVER SIGNED INTO THE DEVICE and I had not changed my password. Also tried changing password thereafter and signing in, but that did not work either; same error message.This is one of the most disappointing and frustrating purchases I have made in some time. I recommend buying another product, from another seller.

My hat is off to Amazon who makes buying online so painless and risk free. This is the third "renewed" tablet that I bought for a particular purpose. The first did not work at all. Amazon facilitated the return, no problem. I bought the second one from a different vendor and, because of an issue loading apps, it needed a factory reset. I then spent a lot of time with Samsung trying to get it to work only to be told they could not help me because it was a "renewed" product. I then tried Amazon who facilitated a return and replacement that was smooth and painless. I should have started there. Buying tech products online can be scary, but Amazon takes the fear and risk out of the process. I won't hesitate to buy tech products through Amazon in the future.

This looks like a nice tablet. I ordered it because it was Samsung, a dependable brand. And Rufus assured me it was 4g capable, with a sim card slot. It was not. There is no slot.So blame the minus one star on the Artificial Ignorance, the AI.

I got this after trying one of those $50 dollar cheapo android tablets. I just wanted something I could keep by my bedside and check e-mails on occasion. After using the $50 cheapo for about 10 mins it made me want to smash it into little pieces with a hammer, so I returned it and got this. It was a little more, but it is ridiculously better than the cheapo was. I was able to upgrade it to Marshmallow and it works great. It's very zippy and responsive and I'm very happy with it.The only thing I don't love is that the charging port is on the top, and since I keep it plugged in all the time it's sort of awkward, but no big deal. It also has no flash, so no flashlight app....

I PURCHASED THIS DEVICE SOLELY TO USE AS A READER.I TRIED WORKING WITH BARNES AND NOBLESAND SAMSUNG I WAS UNABLE TO LOAD FROM GOOGLE PLAY STORE "BARNES AND NOBLES NOOK APP"ON GOOGLE PLAY STORE FROM THIS RECONDITIONED TABLET THAT APP DID OT APPEAR. WORKED OFF AND ON FOR THREE DAYS WITH SAMSUNG AND BARNES AND NOBLES AT WHICH TIME I GAVE UP.WAS TOLD THAT EITHER SOFTWARE OR FIRMWARE WAS NOT CABLE OF ADDING THAT APP

The pro... I have never purchased a "renewed" item before but I needed cheap tablets. The packaging was well done and protected. Came with charger cable but not the block. I swear the tablets looked new. I was more than impressed with the quality. They were factory reset and booted up like new. More than what I was expecting for the price. I was very happy. Key weird "was".The con... First off they are not A7 tablets. They are an older 2016 model A6. The listing was a little deceptive. But the next problem was when both devices would not connect to my home WiFi. Tried several times and even phoned a tech friend. No help or connection. It could see the network but just wouldn't connect. I drove down to the close by McDonald's and like magic they would connect there. I'm no tech person but I needed working tablets in a few days so I had no choice but to return them and get newer tablets. Paid maybe 30 more per tablet for brand new A7 WiFi only Samsung tablets. I placed the order at 10:30 at night and by 8am they had arrived. More than pleased with those and they would connect to my tablet.

Don’t buy from this seller. I returned the item asap because it wasn’t working as described from day one . They received the returned item and charged my account. They pretended as if they didn’t receive the item.
