This netted, two stack drying contraption looks awesome. The circular hoops that give it structure are surprisingly stout. Enough so, that you want to open it at arm's length or it will spring open and hit your face. I sew and considered this item well made. It should hold up in the wind. It has a solid cordura type top that looks like it'll repel rain, although not wind driven rain. I dehydrate a lot of herbs, but sometimes forget to unplug the dehydrator before leaving for the day. I look forward to trying this product using the sun. The small pruning shears were a surprise. They are spring loaded and will be easy on my arthritic hands. The steel blades look like they'll hold up for cutting herbs, but most likely not sturdy enough for twiggy shrubs. I'm glad I ordered it:) It will need to air out considerably tho. There is a chemical smell off gassing from the plastic netting and I don't want my herbs to absorb the smell. I also got this same company's heat mats for my seedlings. They seem well made and work like a charm. I am pleased.

I bought this to dry my herbs in during the summer. I harvest herbs all through the summer and it is just way too hot to run the dehydrator in the house. Normally I've laid them on paper towels on plates, but, it is a pain when I have plates full of drying herbs sitting around the kitchen and the house. I love this. It really does serve it's purpose for me. I just wash my herbs and spread them on the compartments provided inside. It is huge and cumbersome, too big for me to have inside our home. The solution was to hang it up outside, which worked perfectly. I hung it from the rails on my deck. The herbs are protected inside so no bugs can get in. They dried quickly. The only complaint I have at all is it is hard for me to get the dried herbs out of it because of it's size. I have severe arthritis and reaching up hurts me. My son helps me. Overall I am very satisfied with having this and if you dry herbs or teas or anything light this will absolutely do the trick. It holds a lot which is good because I grow a lot. I do not know how it would work for heavier things, i.e. sliced vegetables. But, for leaves (like echinacea and mulberry leaves) it does amazing. It would work for any kind of herbs (i.e. oregano, mint, basil, etc). If you're looking for an electric free way to dry things from your garden I would highly recommend this. Also, it is now fall and I had issues closing it to store it, but, again my son helped me with that. Once it is folded you can easily slip it back into the carrying case for easy storage.

Price meets quality. Plenty of space for drying and folds up flat when not in use. Very lightweight and functional. Used for 6+ months and no tears and zippers still function perfectly.

It's really big and bulky, it takes up a lot more space than I thought.I'm not really impressed by the build quality. This feels like the mesh laundry bags you get that are quite cheap. Minus one star. This thing will explode when you're unboxing and literally hit you in the face if you're not careful. Sigh, minus another star.However, it does do its intended job and I was able to get a large harvest dried with the help of this product. I definitely could've done the job without it, but it did help a little bit so it may be helpful for you if you're having to dry large quantities and don't like hanging the whole plant.

Just the right size for what I needed to dry. These are good sized and I like that you can fold them up when you get done.
