Q: Are there any settings besides 1500 watts? 1500 watts trips my circut breaker.

I returned my first Lasko fan because I couldn't tell the difference between the 2 fan speeds. When my 2nd order arrived with exactly the same issue, I contacted Lasko. It turns out the low speed is the same speed except it shifts the heater to 900 watts. I now only use it on low and it's a fantastic space heater.

Q: How well would it do in a great room, 15x23 feet, with high ceilings?

Probably works better in more confined areas.
