Q: Is the white liner still see-through? And did it come with creases or folds that didn't go away?

The white liner is not see-through - it's more "milky", not exactly opaque, but not clear either. I've had a number of them and they all hang out quite well.

Q: After machine washing it can I put it in the dryer or is it better to hang dry?

I haven't washed mine yet because it's new but I would let it hang dry. It's very thin plastic.

Q: As far as whether 3G or 4G, which one is heavier?

I wanted to explain my answer. In the case of these shower curtains, one had a comparison between 8G and 3G. The 8G was thicker even though that's not the way it normally works with thicknesses. This is made in China so maybe that has something to do with it.
