JBL Flip 6 Portable Bluetooth Speaker with 2-Way Speaker System and Powerful JBL Original Pro Sound, Up to 12 Hours of Playtime, Red

It came a handful of hours before expected, the box was well protected (multiple layers) and the speaker is wonderful as it is even better than I expected :) I will definitely consider buying another for stereo pairing. The box is really nice as well. I would say that it was a bargain for £79! I haven’t encountered any distortion yet but I also haven’t used it higher than 50%. It is fully functional and the “JBL Portable” app really adds a lot of customization. It paired immediately with my phone (iOS) and I haven’t encountered any issues with connectivity. It is easy and fun to use and the battery life is better than stated (around 16 hours at 25-30% volume). I love it and I would definitely recommend it for somebody looking for a portable speaker. It is hefty when you first pick it up but after a few hours it feels lighter (I have no clue why this is).Overall, I would definitely recommend it (sorry for no photos or videos, but it is loud and incredible for its size and price) 👍

Great sound. Easy to use. Rock solid Bluetooth connection. Long battery life. Great max volume. The price I paid was a bargain because blue was way cheaper than the others and I didn't care about the colour.You can connect 2 to provide stereo but I have not been able to check it out.

Well I'm not easily pleased and have poured scorn on many an expensive speaker, especially battery-powered ones this small but this is just remarkable. App just plain works too, with easy software updates etc. I bought one to test and was more than happy so proceeded to order a second to test as stereo pair. If it wasn't great it was going straight back. But it is great -one press the button on the speaker and then on the second and it's a stereo pair, simple as that. Switch to AirPods and want to switch back? it's still in the speaker list as a connected stereo pair and when you select it it plays on both straight away - no issues with iOS at all.Sound is shockingly good. It reminds me of the full sized HomePods, somehow balancing low, mids and highs well and filling the room with ease. Bass is its weakness but it's still much much much better than I'd expected. But compared to say the larger HomePod, that's where you see the difference. However, put it in a corner and the bass reflects back much better - positioning is crucial . Make no mistake about it though, if you're bothered by mid-tone muddiness that absolutely plagues cheap and many expensive speakers, this is profoundly crisp and defined. The equaliser feature works great in the app too. I couldn't be more impressed.

powerful for the size it is. Has a great sound. Battery lasts for ages. Definitely value for money, portable, can take it everywhere. Sounds good even outside with a good range

For a smallish Bluetooth speaker this wee thing can fairly chuck out the music that's crisp and clear. Good value for money and excellent battery life. Great for using as a speaker if watching on a tablet etc too.

Great little speaker for the price!I am not really a massive audiophile so I know there is people that will know a lot more than I can say I do about speakers, but for what I use it for - singing along in the shower - I have no complaintsAudio is great, its easy to setup, waterproof and cool design.

I bought one of these to replace a JBL Flip 4 that had a dead battery. Unfortunately it had gone full "spicy pillow" and was jammed solid inside the casing and couldn't be replaced.The Flip 6 has been a great upgrade. The sound quality is excellent and it has much improved bass output. I was initially disappointed to learn that the Flip 6 is monophonic with its two drivers being for bass and treble, where the Flip 4 had two full range drivers and could output stereo. However, being only centimetres apart, there wasn't much of a stereo sound field. The Flip 6 giving up poor stereo for improved frequency range is a good thing.That said, I missed the stereo enough that I bought a second Flip 6 a couple of months later so that I could use JBL's stereo grouping function to set them up as left and right speakers. In this mode, they easily fill my living room with great sounding music. This function does require using the JBL mobile app to activate, and it has to be re-enabled every time the speakers are power cycled, which is a minor irritation.Judging by teardown videos of the Flip 6, the battery is a larger, more robust type and certainly seems to have a good run time between charges. Hopefully it'll be less susceptible to swelling up than the one in the Flip 4.
