Camp Casual Mug, 4-Pack

Gorgeous, nostalgic. Awesome in my RV.

Yes, these mugs are overpriced, but they're also very cute, just as pictured. Like another reviewer here, I had these on my Amazon wish list, but I picked mine up at Camping World. I'd never buy an RV there, but I admit being astonished what a great store it is for RV-specific camping stuff. Anyway, the price wasn't THAT much cheaper - I think I paid over nine bucks apiece, and here you can get all four, at the moment, for $54. However, I did see that one color here was priced at over sixteen bucks for the single mug. Come now.They're solid, but me, I wouldn't actually carry them in my trailer. I've got Melamine and Tervis mugs for that. I don't like dealing with having to pack it up in squishy material to keep it from being knocked around, and what's more, I don't think these mugs could take it. They chip fairly easily. I've got others like these, particularly from Airstream, ceramic made to look like enamel, so you can heat up your coffee in the microwave. But truth to tell, you can feel tiny fissures in the surface if you run your hands over it. In other words, these aren't going to take well to a couple of years of constant dishwashing, in the same way Chinese clothes don't take to a dryer. Quite often I wash them out by hand, and I only throw them in the dishwasher once in awhile. I know they'll last longer.
