Greenwood Essential Pure Boswellia Sacra (Frankincense) Essential Oil (Boswellia Sacra) Steam Distilled Natural Therapeutic Grade 5ml (0.16 oz)

Frankincense is one of the most expensive essential oils and has a lovely sweet and woody-herbal scent that it relaxing and uplifting. It's a good oil to use in a diffuser when practising yoga or meditation. It also blends well with Roman chamomile, lemon and, surprisingly, grapefruit - but given the price, I prefer to use it alone in a diffuser.

Frankincense has always been a favourite of mine for using in diffusers and I have been using this one in a 400ml ultrasonic cool mist diffuser. In the diffuser this oil has that characteristic lovely spicy, woody slightly resinous scent with no hints of anything untoward so for that aspect of it, it's as good as any other makes I've tried.The bottle came with a plastic 'euro dropper' (rather than a glass/bulb dropper). It's a simple job to remove the plastic seal and recycle it and insert the euro dropper into the bottle. However, this euro dropper is a little eager and when adding the oil to my diffuser a generous stream of oil rather than the expected couple of drops greeted me.So yes, I'd recommend this oil but if you get the plastic euro dropper version take care it doesn't come gushing out!

Greenwood Essential oil always offer great long lasting scents, which are very effective and value for money, whether used in a diffuser or directly on the skin. Not the cheapest around, but one of the best I've tried at this price point.

The oils are absolutely fantastic with a long lasting authentic purity to the fragrance.Great for aromatherapy. Can also be combined with Dutch oils and rubbed into wood.Lovely

Boswellia Sacra oil (incense) with a pleasant natural scent, bittersweet aroma. Oil with a yellowish tinge of medium viscosity consistency. The oil has a pronounced antidepressant effect and helps to relieve strong nervous tension. In cosmetology, this oil is used for skin regeneration, especially for the care of the neck and bust. I love making scented lamps from this oil and adding it to body creams. I advice!

In my culture, this product has been used for centuries mostly in religious ways and has never been advertised properly for its many benefits. Only in recent years, after doing my own research I have understood its powerful medicinal effects. The smell is lovely and I use it for many things from the diffuser to skin mixtures. Good product, I will buy again

I do not think this is the best quality essential oil and I'm not even sure it is 100% pure essential oils as it's not as good, or smell as good as the one's I'm using at the moment. Because of that I'd not recommend it. However if you are a beginner or new to aromatherapy you may find this ok.I hope you found this helpful. Do let me know if you did. Thanks

As usual with Greenwood this is a premium quality product.I have had the opportunity to try many of their oils and I have always been impressed.I absolutely love the smell of Frankincense and include it in many of my diffuser blends. Its also a fabulous ingredient for skin care preparations and also has antiseptic and anti-microbial properties.Greenwood is perhaps a little more expensive than other brands, but the quality is very good.
