I bought this for my boyfriends 21st birthday, pleased to say he absolutely loved it, he built straight away with me helping a little bit, the smile he had when he was building it was so lovely to see, I got him the lights to go with it and now it sits on his desk next to where he games, tempted to get one for myself because it does look very cool.

I did have a small problem with the circuit board had a breakage,but was dealt with very quickly and professionally by the company who have sent out a new circuit board to me ( although I’m still waiting on it arriving atm,but that’s not their fault they have to send it from china to England )

Purchased the remote control version arrived next day despite delivery estimated for following week which is great thank you.On first impression everything looks good nice packaging etc, opened the box instructions are online not a problem, and for this model it's following a YouTube video, I had to keep pausing while with my fat sausage fingers trying to thread the tiny wires and connect the connectors but was simple enough to follow took me just over an hour to do with minimal dismantling of the model, there is no commentary with the video so language barriers.I personally had to adapt some of the wire run and think about placement of the boards as I hang my model on the wall and where the placement was for the wires and boards it would interfere with the hanging method so it's worth bearing in mind if your deciding to mount the model on the wall.There was however two issues found on opening the individual packs the first being one of the bright blue LEDs the live (red wire) wasnt soldered on to the the led though solder there so I'll have to dig out my soldering iron and try to fiddle with it unless the seller can rectify? (See pic) and the usb power supply the connector for that wasn't even attached when opened the pack (see pic) but not a huge major problem for me as I'm using the AAA battery pack to power the lights so no cables are not showing on the wall these two issues are the only reason not given full stars on the review these things happen.But I do love the effect and it finishes the model off especially with it being wall mounted, if your thinking of getting this kit I feel it is worth it and you won't regret it.

My daughter spent 2 hours fitting this following the instructions to the letter come to switch on its broken 🙃 32 quid for something that is absolutely useless

Only lasted a few days before some of the lights stopped working properly.

Adds something special to the technic car, but battery life in the remote is shocking.
