Red Epoxy Pigment (Colorant, Dye, Tint) 6cc (0.2 oz.)

This dye is contained in a tiny little bottle but it will probably last me for years. I had broken a ceramic vessel in firing but it had a sentimental value and I wanted to save it so I looked into an epoxy repair. I wanted to highlight the repair instead of hiding it and a true red was my choice. This was the exact color of red that I expected and one drop in 4 grams of epoxy was a perfect full red. Love the Color and easy to use.

I’ve never used an epoxy dye before but a friend wanted a Templar style sword and for lack of a better idea I tried this with some JB clearweld and sweet mother of Moses it worked freakin awesome. Three drops got me this color with maybe a quarter syringe of JB clearweld. Will be purchasing again for sure. On a side note, it did add an extra few hours of cure time to the JB but If you’re using it the way I am it’s not an issue.

Good color, but the epoxy did turn opaque. Different than the blue pigment from the same company which was still transparent.

Use very small amount for red otherwise you could get black red.

One drop goes a long way. A very solid opaque finish.

Seriously this is the best resin colorant I have ever used. I bought it to make drip cups for Halloween but have tested a few times in resin pieces and each has been beautiful. A drop will make the resin so bright and true and red.

True red, it's hard to find for epoxy (pigment) so I went with this. Couldn't be happier; true deep red.

A very little goes a looong way.
