*Customer Service update*As promised here's my update regarding my experience with Tineco's customer service. Their Customer Service Reps are patient, attentive and very friendly. I've interacted with about 5 or 6 of them and each one of them made the experience pleasant. The best way to contact Tineco is through the chat feature on their website. Emails take on average 24 to 36hrs for a response. Phonecalls are tricky as well. I think some are located overseas so there is the timezone difference to consider when calling and when you do get a live person they recommend the chat.🟩 The ChatIs very convenient and quick. They emailed me a return shipping label once I supplied proof of purchase, the serial number of the machine, a summation of what happened and pictures of the damage. I shipped back everything they requested and they shipped me a refurbished machine ( their refurbished machine tend to be machines returned though the machine has no defects). I was skeptical but once I received the replacement machine I was satisfied.🟩Shipping + CostTineco provided a shipping label at no cost to me. The replacement was shipped once they received my machine NOT while mine was in transport as stated. Overall it took about 2.5 weeks to return and receive the replacement.🟩Replacement MachineIt functions well so far mechanically and has no noticeable defects, scratches etc. Perfect condition.🟩Overall Tineco gets an A+ for customer service! They were friendly and helpful. They also checked with me via email and phonecall to make sure the machine met my satisfaction.**Original Review*I like my Tineco. It does exactly what it promises to do. Its light weight & takes up very little space. Its also easy use and clean. I use it on average 2 or 3x a week. I bought this version because it has a ( nice, very long) cord. I like to go over surfaces repeatedly and don't want to feel rushed because of the battery constraints of other models. I purchased this machine as gifts for family and finally bought one for myself Dec. 2023 since my family like their machines.🔸️Cleaning Pros: This machine maneuvers easily. I love the steam clean feature. It picks up everything leaving my tiled floor sparkling. Its also wonderful on wood floors too.🔸️Cleaning Cons: My only complaint is that I do have to clean corners by hand. This machine simply cannot reach those areas but there are newer models that can. Again I bought this model because of the cord.Its now Feb. 2025 and unfortunately just when I was about to use it, the base inexplicably just crumbled and the empty Dirty water tank fell off. The machine is still under warranty. I contacted Tineco and so far it seems promising. I will update my review in regards to my repair/ warranty experience once it's concluded.so far the customer service has been very nice.

2 weeks into having this, I am very pleased. I was using a Bissell steam mop, which worked as advertised but the vacuum left particles between hardwood slats and it took multiple passes to clean a sticky mess (like dried on sauce/grease/jam). I was greatly displeased with a Dyson v15 with steam so it was returned. This thing is perfect for a house with tile/laminate/sealed hardwood flooring. The rotating brush with steam quickly dissolves the messes and the vacuum picks up everything....dust, dirt, chihuahua fur. The steam evaporates within a few minutes compared to models with only use cool water. It's very easy to clean. This model doesn't have the loop thing and I don't need it.

For many people, I can see how this is a 5 star item. I had a Shark Steam Mop before I decided to spoil myself and get the Tineco one when my Shark finally bit the dust. Tineco has a great unit, just not exactly what I was hoping for. I've had this mop for a little over a year now and I'm going back to Shark.People that I think will benefit from this Steam Mop are:- Those that mop very frequently or on a daily basis.- People with kids.- Housekeepers.We have 3 small dogs and my hope was that I could minimize my cleaning time while trying to eliminate sweeping before mopping. While this product does a good job, I still have to sweep before moping and the time to clean the unit afterwards makes the process of cleaning the floors more time consuming now.I can typically get my kitchen, dining room, and hallway done on one tank. Dumping and adding more water for the next room is easy and the self-cleaning after you're finished it great. When it's done, you then empty the contents again and clean it all or else you get a HORRIFIC smell.The choice to go back to Shark is purely because of my time. The ease of removing the mop head on the Shark and tossing it in the laundry just wins in my book, especially considering I'm still sweeping beforehand.

04/15/25 — well, not even three months after I bought this machine it has proven to be a bad investment! For the last week, I’ve been calling to complain that the machine keeps telling me that I need to either refill the clean water, or, empty out the dirty water container… The problem being that the clean water reservoir is completely full, and the dirty water reservoir is completely empty because no water is coming to it from the clean water reservoir. I can’t use the machine in fear that it’ll burn out the motor as no water is being supplied to steam the floor. I called the 800 number and after a long 45 minute conversation, the only advice given was to remove the Clearwater reservoir, the dirty water reservoir, and Brush head just in case there was air in the chamber! Obviously that was not the issue. After replacing everything, 3 minutes later, the machine started screaming to empty out or add water to the reservoirs! The second t call to the 800 number I was told I could not get a refund or a replacement since it was past the return date but offered to email a shipping label for a repair that would take anywhere from 10-15 days! In the meantime I was out of a machine! I’ve come to the conclusion that buying this “smart” machine was not smart at all, and a waste of $300+. A very expensive use of a machine for not even 3 months!I recently purchased this machine for my cleaning business and tell you what, it’s a game changer! The fact that this jewel of a machine vacuums and steams at the same time saves us so much time it’s incredible! It even steam cleans small area rugs! Another wonderful thing — IT CLEANS ITSELF! It definitely surpasses any of our other floor machines by miles! Definitely the best investment for my business! So looking forward to adding another!
